Great Hotel but NO view

It was a great hotel. Nice room, kitchen, washer/dryer, wood floor and big window. However, we couldn't open curtains because there is a office bulding next to the hotel even though we were on 9th floor. I liked the hotel overall. Great price and nice room.

35 Wedding Anniversary Trip

Loved the trip. Labour day is the same weekend as our Labor Day. Wonderful 3 day air shows.Saw 4 ballgames, went on a 3 schooner boat ride for our 35 wedding anniversary and the weather was fantastic. Walked miles and miles - very flat landscape. Hotel (Cosmopolitan) perfect for my plans. Great Spa. (It was so warm I wish I had booked in a hotel with a pool, but who would have guessed?) Location of Cosmopolitan was excellent. Toronto has modern buildings and wonderfully European architecture as well. St. Lawrence Market is incredible. City is spotless and felt very safe. UNDER the city is a maze of shops. Public transportation is very good but I would recommend a taxi or service from the airport. It is only 16 miles but about an hour in travel time.

Perfect Hotel Stay

The Cosmo was best hotel experience ever. The staff could not have been more helpful. They felt like family, the kind you leave lots of money to in your will. The hotel instills a sense of pure peacefulness and serenity. The spa treatments was the best ever and stunning decor.

Fantastic getaway!

This was our first trip to Toronto, but it definitely will not be our last! The Cosmopolitan is located on a quiet, secluded street, yet it is in walking distance to numerous restaurants and attractions. We stayed in the premium suite on the 23rd floor, which had spectacular views of Toronto, including the CN Tower and Lake Ontario. The living room/kitchen area was spacious. The bedroom was a little tight, but nicely decorated. The 'balcony,' however, was so tiny one person could barely fit on it. The 5 star spa is a little pricey, but it is worth every penny! Hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Money-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

Do not purchase a viewing ticket to the CN Tower, which is about $75.00 per person I believe. If you eat at the 360 restaurant, you can enter all of the viewing levels at no additional charge. Also, you will not have to wait on the line for the viewing level since diners skip the line and go directly up to the restaurant.

Fantastic value for 4+star hotel stay!

Went to Toronto to attend a wedding. Orbitz offered a great air/hotel deal - better than booking wedding guest rates separately. Incl free breakfast + internet access. Offered great convenience of having in-room washer-dryer; kitchen (sink/ fridge/ burners/ microwave/ dishwasher/ coffemaker); wi-fi internet access; iron/ ironing board Bathroom had large walk-in shower with toiletries; hairdryer This is a great apartment-style hotel with all the hotel amenities & service!

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Located just off Yonge St; mid-dist to wharf as well as main shopping (Eaton Ctr & Bloor St). Great Concierge (Jason) recommended less expensive Niagara Falls day tour ($75;$84 incl Maid of Mist boat must-do) vs $128.

Good not great

Location was pretty good...close to public transportation and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Room was really small but it was clean and the bathroom was nice and modern. My complaint is parking was really expensive ($33 a day!) and the burger we ordered from room service was really awful and it was over $30 all in to boot. On top of that you have to pay for wi-fi service which was spotty at best. Staff was friendly and helpful but for some reason this hotel just didn't do it for me.

Nothing Special

Rooms were small and not as nice as the online pictures. I think the building was used for appartments. The room was also diry (hair on the bathroom floor). We also had to call down to the front desk to have ice brought to the room.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

Find somewhere else to park, the hotel only offers valet which is $33 per day plus tax.. then they want a tip as well.
