Good stay at a clean, comfortable hotel

Overall the hotel and the staff were great! Staff was courteous, polite and helped us to navigate to the Roger's Centre for our U2 concert! The beds were comfortable, with newer pillowtop matresses and plenty of pillows. The room was clean and wasn't missing anything. The view was good-we were on the 22nd floor! The climate control worked well. The parking was $23.00 but safety in the lot and hotel was good. Great stay with enough bars, restaurants, and convenience stores within very short distances.

overall....just fine

We had dinner and took in entertainment in the neighbourhood. Breakfast the following morning at the adjacent diner. This hotel is not new and not 5 star. But for what it claimed to be and what we paid, it was just fine.

great hotel

Although we couldn't get on site Parking because of the busy weekend (Expo, College move in's , Italian Festival ) we did get it around the corner in the public lot ,but it was pricy . These are all the reasons my husband and I traveled there as well. We had a great time and the room was beautiful, and comfortable. There is a great restraunt right next store . breakfast was to die for. and priced right ,great service as well.

Short Getaway

Good location, within walking distance of shopping and resturants. During peak periods there was a wait for elevators.

stay at the Primrose

Visited with relative who was speaking at a conference in Toronto. Had been there many times in the past but not stayed at the Primrose. I found the accommodations above average. The only negative is that the entrance to the underground garage is quite difficult to maneuver and has an initial very steep incline. the location is great with access to to trolley and subway transportation. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Will do for the rate

Stayed at this hotel on vacation in Toronto--I have stayed there before and the best thing I can say about it is what is consistently good is good and what is consistently poor is poor. The good: good location, friendly staff, decent price The bad: rooms need maintenance (i.e., paint peeling from walls), noise from hallway to room, nightmarishly slow elevators even at non-peak times

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

If at all possible, try avoiding peak check-in and check-out times--this hotel is a magnet for large groups of tourists arriving and departing by bus and the lobby will be filled with mountains of luggage and tourists.
