Awful Service, rooms were not clean

I was assigned a smoking room that smelled awful and was not clean. When I asked for a non-smoking room, the hotel clerk was very annoyed and said he didn't want to switch rooms. Finally after debating with him he sent housekeeping up to check the room which of course checked out great and I was able to switch. Customer service, awful. Rooms are very run down, dirty, and in not a great area of town.

good location, close to attractions

Enjoyed our stay, staff was helpful and courteous, convenient to city transportation systems, enjoyed visiting the CN Tower and Casa Loma, would have preferred a queen size bed rather than a double, parking underground was very tight

ok

Quiet comfortable sleep and clean warm shower was very important because I was in the city for a marathon race. The neighbours were partying in the hallway at night for at least 45 min, and a different neighbour had to go out and ask them to be quiet. The shower didn't drain and left scum on the tub. Needless to say, poor interrupted sleep and a not so clean shower in a few inches of dirty water was not ideal. There was also a dirty streak (somebody's drool?) on one of the accent pillows. Gross. Only two staff at the front and they weren't all that friendly.

A place to sleep, not a destination.

Checking in was stressfull. the drive way to check in is very short, only 2 vehicles can fit at a time. Good luck checking in and unloading the car, especially if there are alot of people in your group or family. Parking was full. They did give me a map for public parking 2 blocks in any direction. Requested a roll away bed when booking the room and again at check in.... never got it. Called room service for extra blanket and they weren't too happy about that. Room was small but had a fridge, microwave, and sink. Didn't use the outdoor pool but it looked nice. Tim Hortons right next to the lobby made my morning. Older hotel....clean place to come back to rest your head. Location served our needs well. shopping, restaraunts, etc all in walking distance. Would probably try a different place next time.

Unclean rooms and NO BREAKFAST

The rooms were not very clean, had old amenities. The TV was so small I could barely see it from my bed. The closet doors were broken, and the room had a funny smell.

Unbeatable location for the price

I went to Toronto basically for City tour. Get to know the key points of interest from the city and the great night life. I did not spend much time in the hotel. However the room installation was a great. The room could be cleaner. Overall was a good experience.
