Friendly Staff

I found the staff at the hotel to be some of the friendliest I have encountered in a while in a hotel. I arrived very late at the Primrose (2am) and the staff were not only friendly and welcoming, but assisted me with luggage and finding an all night restaurant that would deliver as I hadn’t eaten since lunch. They certainly went out of their way very early in the morning, and I truly appreciated it.

Satisfactorily Average in an Above Average City

It was being renovated when I originally went which caused for at least a 15 minute wait to get on an elevator....don't even think about taking the stairs, those were blocked off. The staff when I arrived was rude, and not helpful, but after that they all seemed quite friendly, and helpful. If you're looking to rarely spend time in the rooms like I did, they were perfect. Comfortable but nothing spectacular. The location was really good, it took me maybe 10 minutes to get to Yonge Street which has a lot of shops and hustle and bustle.

Good Value for Money

My recent trip to Toronto had be staying at the Primrose hotel. I booked here because they offered a really good price and were in a central location. The staff were very helpful and were quick to offer directions and dining options. The restaurant was good for breakfast and there was lots of variety on the buffet. I would go back again.

good value and location

The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Toronto--easy to walk to nearby shopping and restaurants and close to subway station. The room was average, very comfortable but in need of some thorough cleaning. There was dried blood splattered on the bathroom door and on the wallpaper just outside the door, and the carpets were in need of cleaning. Bedding was clean and very comfortable. Overall, the hotel is a good value for the money and the underground parking is very convenient at a competitive price. There is also a Tim Hortons off the lobby of the hotel!

Good Location

I got a good deal online and stayed at the Primrose hotel. The hotel is in a great location and I was able to walk to the Eaton Centre and to Yorkville for shopping. I was given a newly renovated room and it was great. There were 2 beds in the room and I had in room coffee maker which was handy in the morning. The staff were great and always smiling. I felt very much at home here.

Business traveler’s choice

When in Toronto, our office always books the Primrose Hotel. This place is perfect for business travelers. It has a Tim Horton’s in the lobby, special business rooms with a large desk for working, free wireless internet and onsite parking. We have had several employee stay there over the last 6 months and none of them have ever had any issues. It is our preferred choice when in Toronto

Price was right

Went to Toronto and got a good price on a room at the Primrose Hotel. The place was nice and looked pretty modern. The staff were friendly and the location was ideal. Restaurant was great in the morning and way cheaper than other hotel’s buffets. Would go back

Price was Perfect

Was going to stay at the airport area but got a great price at the Primrose Hotel which is right in Downtown. The hotel was great. The room was really nice and very large. The beds were amazing and so comfortable. The staff were really nice and let us check out late on our last morning. The place is great. Right in the middle of the city and priced within a single mother’s budget.
