Great Location

The Bond Place Hotel was in a great location. An underground parking garage was just across the street. Eaton Centre was just a few blocks away. Subway Station was just one block away. The Hotel rooms were small but very clean. I felt safe and the staff was great. I would definitely stay there again!

New Room

This hotel was the best value downtown and it was very awesome. Although the room is small it was brand new and had actually never been slept in. Its modern decor still had the fresh paint smell. The staff was awesome and the location was PERFECT...right in the heart of the city near the very busy nightlife. If I ever have to go to Toronto again, I will definitely stay here!!

Glad I Found This

The Bond Place Hotel has a great location! It's two blocks from Yonge St, Toronto's main drag. You're also an easy walk from public transportation that will very quickly take you anyplace you want to go in central Toronto, and if you're a walker, it's a pleasant stroll to St. Lawrence Market, the Village, or shopping on Bloor. It's a recent building, I'm guessing 1990s. There are 18 floors. Our room was clean and quiet, and the staff was very friendly. Housekeeping was very prompt -- which isn't always the case. One funny thing....the vending machines required tokens, not change. Maybe this is common, but I hadn't run into it before. But that's minor; I'd gladly stay here again.

AWESOME location

The Bond Place is a great value for the location. If you are looking for someplace simple without the frills, this place is it. The room was quite small, but it was clean and pumped out hot air for our cool visit in April. The only issue we had was I forgot my toothbrush and I called the front desk twice in a span of two hours and by the time they came, I went out to the drugstore and bought one. This is not a big deal though and they did end up giving me one. I can't think of a better location than this as you are at Dundas Square and the shopping is write there. There is a 25-30 minute walk to the CN Tower which is fine as well. Do not miss Salad King on Gould. It is a little place for some Thai food and the atmosphere is unique and the food is incredible AND CHEAP.

Great Location... average on the rest

The best of the Bond Place is definitely it's location. Just a block away from Yonge-Dundas Square and the eaton centre. The financial district is a short walk away, and being so close to the subway station, getting to other parts of Toronto is quick, cheap and easy. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Check In and check out were really quick. The hotel a bar and a restaurant, I didn't use the bar but it looked like a nice enough place. The restaurant was unremarkable, not better or worse than what I'd expect in a hotel of this category. The room and bathroom are small, but still comfortable. I liked the fact that they provide a hair drier and coffee maker. My only complaint would be the bed. While I was able to get a decent sleep, It was anything but comfortable. For a little over $200 a night, you pay an almost unbeatable location at an acceptable quality hotel with a great staff. If you plan on spending most of your time exploring the city, I would definitely recomend staying there.

If you are planning on spending a lot of time exploring the city, get a TTC day pass. It will be much cheaper than buying individual tickets and it can be used by an entire family

Close and Clean

This hotel is located just off of Dundas Square and is wonderfully clean. The hotel is well run and has helpful concierge. Minutes from the TTC, underground, the Eaton Center, and trolleys. We spent our time sight-seeing and this hotel could not have been more central and perfect for our uses. Also wonderfully inexpensive for it's locale.

Money-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

The weather was cool and walking was great. No hills and if it rains the underground shopping and traveling via subway was fine. The only draw back was that the senior fare was from Sunday-Sat. So if you came into the city mid-week, it is better to get the daily fare.
