Consultant believes in fair play
New England Weather Cancellation
Since I missed my flight, and as a result my first visit with a new client, due to the terrible weather in Boston this week, I called immediately to cancel my reservation, but got the answering machine where I left a detailed message. I should mention that I am an independent contractor with a small consulting business just started last spring. I then contacted [...]with whom I made the reservations, who called the front desk. After he explained the situation, they said I could make a replacement reservation by 6 pm with no penalty otherwise I would have to pay full price. I checked and my client company couldn't reschedule on that short notice. So I am out this money. I've cancelled various reservations over the years (I am 56) and I have never been screwed this way with a cancellation, even same day. As an AAA member, an American Chemical Society Member, and a regular user of Orbitz for my travel needs, I am going to report your hotel to them as a poor player and will not stay at Bond place in my lifetime. Excellent value
I was pleasantly surprised with the Bond Place Hotel. I had read reviews that said that the rooms were small, but I did not find this to be the case. The room was not overly spacious by any means, but it was comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly and willing to help. The location was excellent. It was a two minute walk from Yonge Dundas Square and the subway, which made it very convenient to get anywhere in the city. Parking was $15/day, which I thought was pretty fair for a downtown hotel. My only complaints are that the beds are a little too firm and the walls are a little thin. Other than that, the Bond Place far exceeded my expectations.

Great location in downtown Toronto
We had a good stay at the hotel. Excellent location in the heart of downtown Toronto, right next to Eaton center. The rooms were nice and clean. There is ready access to public transportation via cable car, bus and subway. The only drawback is that parking is $15/day and wireless internet is $9/day.

Small rooms, decent place
The rooms are small and a bit oddly laid out, and the beds had sheets that didn't fit great. There was no washcloth, and some of the drawers didn't work so well. But it was clean, and overall it worked fine.

Toronto during holidays....
Our hotel was paid in full before arriving, they charged our credit card and extra $50 per room, which we had two rooms. My kids (adults) had to change rooms because their heat went out in their rooms overnight on the first night there, they gave us complimentary breakfast sandwiches and coffee..[...]Never Again!!!!Bond Place Hotel....They also charged for Wi-Fi, $10 for 24hr period...had to pay that extra also...

Bond Place experience...
Came to the hotel expecting a little more than what I arrived to find. [...] The biggest disappointment was the size of the room and the fact that I had 2 single beds. The room was clean. The bathroom was tiny and dated. Location is excellent with restaurants within walking distance. Parking is in a covered garage which was a big plus since my stay coincided with a big winter snowstorm! I'd stay here again.

Good hotel for a short business trip
I stayed at this hotel for a few days while on personal business. The staff was friendly and efficient; the hotel lobby was nothing fancy but simple, clean and elegant all the same. The hotel room was also pretty clean. The only negative was the placement of the office desk and chair; it was squeezed in too tightly next to the bed which didn't give much wiggle room. Big plus - the staff at the cafe serve great cappucinos and the snacks are pretty decent.

Short walk from hotel
It's a short walk to the bus station, some decent restaurants on Yonge street and the city centre; Toronto in general is fairly easy to walk (if you're used to walking like I am in New York).

It was not the best...
I was expecting a little bit more. The location was great, but the service was poor. The information provided is a little bit misleading. When they tell you they have a shuttle to and from the airport, do not assume it is for the Hotel...my room was noisy, and I was told no other room was available...so the two nights I spent there, could have been better.

Short walk from hotel
I went to College Street just one street over, parallel to Dundas on the north. It had sever clubs with local bands.
