Lovely hotel! Double rooms very spacious! Bathrooms very large! Not your normal Courtyard Marriott! Buffet breakfast was nice! Front desk staff could be a little bit more responsive and not so passive! Not very knowledgeable about surrounding area
attractions! Definitely needs some improvement! Otherwise, wonderful stay!
If you are cold all the time, not the hotel for you
The building is very nice and the rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The reservation was made for three travellers but when we arrived there the sofa bed was not set and the sheets and pillows nowhere to be seen. That was solved by the
front-desk staff while we were out for dinner, however the newly arranged bed had no blankets and it took forty minutes to get one delivered to the room.
The room was big and the thermostat was too far away from the (very noisy) air conditioning outlet so we were freezing in one corner and ok in the other one.
The water from the shower was not as hot as it should have been.
Overall the hotel is good, but a little overpriced for the service it offers (not the facially, which is new and beautiful)
The hotel is fine. Nothing special but perfectly servicable.
The restaurant is atrocious and not all what one would expect for a convention hotel. Limited menu with no ability to to modify any item. The one page menu has about 5-6 items for each
meal and no, you can't have breakfast items during lunch or dinner nor can you have lunch items during dinner. Service was slow (~45 minutes when we were the only two people in the restaurant) and quite apathetic. I eventually went up to the counter to get more water.

Byward Market is delightful! Lots of little boutique stores, real French bakeries, small restaurants, butchers, etc. Clearly well used and loved by the locals. Love that stands have "Producer" written if they grow or create what is sold and "Vendor" if they are selling someone else's hard work.
