This hotel is dated but clean and tidy. The room was spacious the bed comfortable. The hottub was too hot to get into and the sauna as with most had not been turned on when I was there. The hotel was full of hockey children but we were not disturbed by them. I would say it was good value.

Good place to stay expect for wireless internet is weak
Perfect place to stay with lots of amenities and comfort, except that the wireless internet reception was weak in our room.. Otherwise no complaints. Accessible to many good restaurants nearby

Great pool - a little far from town
Great pool. A little far from downtown Ottawa, about 10-15" drive. Very good, inexpensive and fast breakfast at attached restaurant. Eggs and bacon with fries, coffee and toast for about $7.00

Perfect Night's Sleep, Friendly Staff & Fantastic Pool
I had to travel to Ottawa on business and chose this hotel because of the price. I was impressed with a) how quiet it was, b) the bed's comfort, c) the pool & jacuzzi, which I enjoyed in the a.m. -- great, and d) the friendly staff. I would recommend this if you just want a peaceful night in a safe hotel with friendly staff. The pool is a great plus! Fantastic! -Mary C.

Great stay
Great place to do an overnight. Pool looked awesome although we didn't have time to use it. Had dinner in the attached restaurant and it was wonderful. Took a cab to Scotiabank place for concert and it was reasonable and fast. All in all, great value~!

Reality
We stopped for a night coming and going to take my grandsons to camp in Algonquin Pk. The AC was NOT working. [...] The second night the admitted that they couldn't fix the AC and they moved us to a different room. Both rooms were comfortable and clean and the pool is large and clean. The restaurant wasn't open because of Canada Day and it opens at 8am which is a little late when you are needing to be on the road early.

Comfortable & quiet
The hotel was located in a good area and only a few miles from the airport and easy to find. The rooms were quiet and well appointed. Housekeeping was good except that they only left decaf coffee after the first day.
