Albert At Bay Suite Hotel

Staff at this hotel is very helpful and friendly. I really like Bernadette. Hotel is very clean and big and location is very conveni ent. Next time when I visit Ottawa. I will for sure stay at Albert at the Bay and no where else and I also told all my friends to stay at this hotel

We stayed at this hotel during the Capital Hoedown Country Music Festival. The location was perfect for walking daily to the festival at LeBreton Flats, and was also convenient to restaurants and other downtown sights. For example, Byward Market was an easy mile or so walk. The suite was phenomenal....very large, with a balcony, dining area, full kitchen, and TWO bathrooms (queen suite). We have stayed in several hotels during visits to Ottawa, but this will be our new "go to" hotel.

hit all historic sites, some museums. this hotel is in poor shape, not the best location, way to expensive (your only paying for the size of room), no extras (it cost 18$ cad) to do two loads of laundry our selves), staff, while not rude, was certainly uninspried, never making eye contact with guests as they walked by, not at all making an effort to WOW guests.

We could have lived in this room! It was amazing! We had a private bedroom and a separate living room and a full kitchen. It was wonderful. They didn't specify that there was an oven, and we would have liked to know that ahead of time. It was a nice money saver to be able to make breakfast in our room though. Super quick walk to Parliment Hill, and they even let us keep our car parked in the garage after we had checked out. Staff were really friendly, and we would absolutely stay there again.

The night time 6-11 pm receptionist (night shift) was not nice at all. She kept telling me I have to pay the parking fee if I can't show her the CAA membership although I had explained to her that the manager in the previous shift promised to give the parking permit to me once I return. I told the manager that I forgot to bring my CAA membership and credit card with me. After he checked my previous stay, he assured me to go to the front desk to get the overnight parking underground permit. He did not leave a message of his promise to me. At 7 pm When I brought up my complain about the internet connection to the same receptionist. (It basically has very weak and most of the time no signal and the browser did not load up anything at all.) The same receptionist Rheea kept saying she received no other complain and the router are all up and disregard my complain. I insisted that I need the internet service badly,she just hand me a toll free # to call and get help from there instead. My entire evening was struggling with the internet issue and did not get it resolve except switching to another room on the same level. I got pretty upset of not getting the internet service at all during the stay and got tired of moving my stuff from one room to another just to hope to get the wireless internet signal. In the end, there was no internet service provided at all even in the morning before I checked out around 10-10:30 am. BTW there was a big party took place the evening and there were screaming and yelling and crowding in the elevator and lobby which made the impression of an unsafe environment. I wish the management can take care of this kind of function with due diligence to ensure proper behavior in the hotel premises. This trip was very disappointing.

For the price that I paid for this hotel, usually you would get a no frills and sometimes even a substandard room but what I got was a home away from home. Other than the usual bedroom and bath, there was a kitchen, living, and dining room. It was all very clean and tastefully decorated. Service was great. I asked for body lotion, and they gave me extra hair conditioner and soap as well. Best thing was, there was a mix-up with the room they gave me and what I thought I reserved [...]. As compensation, they gave me free parking which worked out to be around $20/day. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was really a wonderful apartment with everything to make us feel at home--great price, parking included, helpful staff.

I took my father to visit Ottawa. My sister and her husband company us.I was very happy when I entered our suite. It was amazing and spacious. Decoration was nice. Two bathrooms made it very comfort for four people. A kitchen with all facilities made it perfect to cook there. Comparing with previous hotel, it was much much better. I will definetly will be back there if I want to go another time to Ottawa.
