Romantic getaway

Free parking is always a plus. Our check-in and check-out process went smoothly. The room was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed a couples massage that was very relaxing. Most of the staff were helpful and courteous. We loved the breakfast each morning, which was included. The only negatives were: the air conditioner or refrigerator were noisy, we couldn't figure out which one. The television was too small for the large room and there was no pool.

Wes Anderson at Niagara?

Reading a few reviews here and on another review site, i felt confident about booking the hotel. However as we started to pull into town and then drive towards the actual hotel, there was some second guessing. Probably because we visited just before peak season (early May) and arrived at 4PM, the hotel parking was nearly empty which made us feel a little uneasy. Then again what hotel parking lot is actually full at 4PM? The interior of the hotel was nicely renovated, apparently the building was originally a dairy building, hence the large bottle shape over the front entrance. From the moment i walked in to the moment we checked out, it was as if we were in a Wes Anderson film. Front desk clerks who know your name and what you have requested, speaking in short accented blurbs to the somewhat out of place but friendly housekeepers. The rooms were all very well planned out as well. We were traveling with our infant, so space was crucial, we had a crib in the room, and there was still plenty of space leftover. Our room had a mini fridge and wet bar and steam shower. All immaculate. Breakfast was simple but satisfying and it was nice to have it delivered to our door, especially with the baby. Location: its' a few blocks away from the hustle and bustle of Clifton Hills Rd and a minute from the border crossing. So location is pretty good, if you're ok not seeing the falls or don't mind walking a little. All in all, we'd definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Couples Getaway

A wonderful hotel in the Niagara Falls Ontario area. Great location in the heart of Niagara Falls. Minutes away from Clifton Hill and the Falls. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and gorgeous. The beds are super comfortable and the highlight is the large 2 person jacuzzi! The little touches like complementary in-room breakfast, free wifi and parking makes this place a hidden gem!

Fabulous! A hidden gem!

Exceeded our expectations. It's 2 blocks from all the 'bright lights', easy to walk to restaurants and entertainment, even in the snow. The rooms are enormous, the staff was extremely nice and they serve you breakfast in bed every morning, included in your stay! We had a lovely getaway, definitely not a place to stay with the kids, more of a couples/ romantic vibe. I would highly recommend this inn as one of the best places to stay in Niagara Falls.

Very nice place

The room was great. The bathroom in the king room was super. Largest shower and tub (separate) ever! Located too far to walk to the falls but was away from all the downtown craziness. Place was empty in November. A great time to go.

Wonderful Getaway

My wife and I went to Niagara Falls to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and the Sterling Inn & Spa was a wonderful treat. We stayed in large traditional king room that had a fireplace, steam shower and even a furnished balcony. The staff was very helpful and answered any questions that we had, as well as provided a tasting coupon for a local winery. The hotel also had free parking, and it included breakfast in bed which couldn't be beat. Saturday night we also took advantage of AG, the restuarant inside the hotel and their live music and tapa menu starting at $1 for dinner. Overall the hotel was terrific and I would recommend it to anyone.
