Worse of the worse.

Rude staff, smelly room, paid extra for early check in. Paid for wifi and it doesn't even work. Worst experience ever

My current Go-To hotel for Niagara Falls stays

Always trying to save money on frequent short stays associated with my children's activities. This place is the best so far for value, great staff and cleanliness. Will definitely be staying here again. I've stayed in motels closer to the Falls or downtown that were not ideal. This is literally a 7 minute drive from downtown and the Scotia Convention Centre. We did not use it but the in door pool looked clean and inviting. Unlike other 'budget' places I've stayed the entire building did not reek of strong chlorine. It was great.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

A ten minute walk or 2 minutes drive (you have to cross a couple major streets making for the longer walk) to a shopping centre for sundries and necessities and for a quick bite of fast food.

Stay At Inn

Hotel quite clean, and quiet--not busy-- great location for shopping, eating etc. Staff very curtious, but big drawback, was lack of proper TV stations and availability to watch area channels as listed. It was mentioned to the front desk, but nothing of note done to improve!!! Need a better cable service!!!! For the money, pretty good value.

1 nights stay

The Peninsula Inn Resort was undergoing some renovations. Nothing on the website letting you know that. The restaurant was closed. The computer was a pay by the minute slow experience. Lots of dust on the second floor railings. The location was fine, there are some places to eat a short drive away. I would rate it a 2 out of 5 at most because of the present conditions.

Clean, comfortable

The Peninsula Inn was a clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel. Decor was lacking, as were some of the ameneties, but the rooms were spacious and the location was pretty decent in regards to Niagara Falls. Could have definitely been cheaper, however.

Peninsula Inn and Resort

The room was spacious and clean. They need to up-date their ammenities, ie.put in Microwaves and refrigerators, new mattresses and pillows. Linen was changed everyday and looked nice. The television was ancient and not many channels. The entrance needs new carpet immediately as it gives one a first and recurring distastful impression.'The staff was very friendly and helpful which made the inconviences a bit easier to bear. And along with these changes the restaurant would undoubtedly pay for itself if they had dinner service also, as more guest would choose to stay in their establishment. There are no half stars so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chose 3 stars over 2 1/2 stars.... which it really deserves. But...this could be an extremely fine hotel if management would add or bring up to date the above amenities.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Just a short drive and average walk away is the Mandarin Restaurant...and it is fantastic...but be aware they close in the afternoon to re-group for the evening meal buffet. One may consider it a bit pricey, but the presentation is only outshone by the quality of the delicious food. They also have ala carte and the portions are enormous...we regretfully left most of a delicious plate of Chicken Chow Mein because the Peninsula did not have refrigerators....so you definitely get your fill and to the staff we give an A+.Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable.

No Frills place to stay

It's a clean no frills hotel. Somewhat of a small room, but OK. They have a wedding chappel and grounds out back - would be a nice place for weddings. It's not within walking distance to the Niagara Falls, but is a short drive.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a sports bar and grill in the mall next to the place called Hoops that's pretty neat if you like that atmosphere.

decent place

hotel was ok, rooms were a little dated, carpet a little dirty but the hot-tub in my room was great. tv was fuzzy, but with a hot-tub, who cares. several reviews said this place wasnt that great - I would disagree, for the rate, location (about 2mins from the falls, 2 streets, very easy) and for having jacuzzi rooms we were very happy - overall this was a good place to stay, better the budget hotels, cheaper then the 4 start hotels on the strip, save money - stay here - spend the savings on events @ the falls.
