Peninsula Inn and Resort
The room was spacious and clean. They need to up-date their ammenities, ie.put in Microwaves and refrigerators, new mattresses and pillows. Linen was changed everyday and looked nice. The television was ancient and not many channels. The entrance needs new carpet immediately as it gives one a first and recurring distastful impression.'The staff was very friendly and helpful which made the inconviences a bit easier to bear. And along with these changes the restaurant would undoubtedly pay for itself if they had dinner service also, as more guest would choose to stay in their establishment. There are no half stars so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chose 3 stars over 2 1/2 stars.... which it really deserves. But...this could be an extremely fine hotel if management would add or bring up to date the above amenities.

Short drive from hotel
Just a short drive and average walk away is the Mandarin Restaurant...and it is fantastic...but be aware they close in the afternoon to re-group for the evening meal buffet. One may consider it a bit pricey, but the presentation is only outshone by the quality of the delicious food. They also have ala carte and the portions are enormous...we regretfully left most of a delicious plate of Chicken Chow Mein because the Peninsula did not have refrigerators....so you definitely get your fill and to the staff we give an A+.Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable.

It's a clean no frills hotel. Somewhat of a small room, but OK. They have a wedding chappel and grounds out back - would be a nice place for weddings. It's not within walking distance to the Niagara Falls, but is a short drive.

There is a sports bar and grill in the mall next to the place called Hoops that's pretty neat if you like that atmosphere.

hotel was ok, rooms were a little dated, carpet a little dirty but the hot-tub in my room was great. tv was fuzzy, but with a hot-tub, who cares. several reviews said this place wasnt that great - I would disagree, for the rate, location (about 2mins from the falls, 2 streets, very easy) and for having jacuzzi rooms we were very happy - overall this was a good place to stay, better the budget hotels, cheaper then the 4 start hotels on the strip, save money - stay here - spend the savings on events @ the falls.

Short drive from hotel
about 2 blocks away twords the falls is a great diner on the right side of the road called Perrys Place - we ate breakfast there for a decent price, great food, service was great!
