38th Anniversay Honeymoon

The hotel and staff were great. Location is excellent. The USD $20 per day for parking is not, and the off-site Valet parking is inconvenient. The high cost of eating breakfast at the hotel should be improved, as should access to the internet on the lobby computer for guest. Registered guest should not be charged for using the computer for a reasonable amount of time. However, charging for everything seems to be the normal thing the tourist area in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. I did find some very honest places with reasonable fees.

Park your vehicle on a secure lot on the next block for $5 to $13 per day. Eat out when possible. Buy bottle water at a convenience store.

The overpriced

Very good rooms, it takes too long to get your car 15 minutes after you call, not enough restaurants, very expensive, $3.90 for a cup of coffee, $18.00 for an omlete, geared towards taking your money and not looking after your comfort. $75.00 for a pedicure in Downtown Toronto I pay $37.00

Fallsview is really a great Falls View

This Marriott had terrific views, but the staff was unfriendly and the valets and bell men were lazy. The tour desk had some good tours and the one we took included 4 of the best sights (Maid of the Mist, Behind the Falls, Skylon, & Butterfly Conservatory) with a very good tour director, however the tour desk was high pressure. Lesser Mariott's (i.e., Courtyard) offer benfits like free coffee & tea in the lobby. This Mariott does not offer any thing, except exceptional views and proximity to some of the better sight seeing spots.

Not Worth the Price

You have to valet your car, there is no choice, and then they charge you $20 a day for parking. We booked a falls view room, we had a view of the trees in front of the falls, so if you are going to book a falls view room make sure you are above the 5th floor.

Beautiful yet some errors

The hotel is nice location is great clean but not up to my reservation's request. first we booked 5 person we supposed to have 2 queen beds and a rollout bed. They have provided the extra bed then charged me 20.00 we have requested a smoke free suite. They have provided a cleaned smoke in room. well did not have time to argue with service and most of all I have told management about the issue. by the way great view and setup (room 1504) but hotel is greedy. they want 8.00 for 1L aquafina filtered water bottle.

we traveled extensively and this was hotel where morning breakfast was not part of stay.Breakfast was $ 20.00 per person which means for 3 persons we have to $ 60.00 just for morning bagel and egg.Rooms have great view but bare minimum e.g toilet papers were on vanity and hair dryer was in a bag on bath room door hook.small room bar was locked with no key around.

Great Location

Location was great and had wonderful views. Staff was a bit lacking in knowledge of area or use of local services... No amenities included with price of room and everything was an additional expense. (ie shuttle service)

Paying for the Name of Hotel

Our stay was nice. Friendly staff, pool area way too small. Not much entertainment for price of hotel. Also, a $25.00 DAILY FEE for parking. No self park, valet parking. We had to park a few blocks down for $5.00 a day and walked back to the hotel. Also had to fork over additional $300. when checking in, it was due to "in case of anything should occur", but is given back at checkout. Be prepared to pay about $89.00 for a buffet breakfast. No free WiFi, no complimentary breakfast. A leaky pipe flooded our closet during the night but we were given complimentary breakfast for that. That was nice of them. The staff were polite and friendly. We paid quite a bit of money and did expect more for the price. We could have stayed at another hotel but decided to treat ourselves, but we saw no difference, even our young children said it! Be prepare to take about $2000.00 for a weeks worth of food and entertainment for 4. Its a very expensive but beautiful place. There are other hotels just as lovely with lower prices, free WiFi, bigger pools, game rooms etc to entertain if its raining.

Restaurants are next door to hotels. Wake up late and have a heavy breakfast, that will take care of lunch too and have dinner around 6 as it gets very busy. I would recommend the hotel if a person can afford it. I dont think we could have if it were not for a package deal. Thank you CT!
