Clean room with all the basics and decent WiFi. Very low key; perfect if you're looking to spend a night or two and want to be close to Niagara region's attractions. Staff was friendly. The rooms are in need of renovation, as well as the equipment
but that will probably affect prices.
Only paid $27 to stay one night when I was too tired to drive back to the states. The low price scared me a little, but I didn't have much money for a hotel. First off, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful for all questions I asked. The
area the hotel was located in was very convenient, close to the falls and many dining choices. The room was very comfortable, with my only complaint being that there was some splattering on the bathroom wall next to the sink.. so they probably didn't clean that area very well.. but everything else looked clean and was comfortable. Overall, this is a great deal at only $27 a night!
Room was clean. Bed very comfortable. Location was close to our entertainment venue and we were able to walk to it. the only difficulty we encountered was trying to regulate the water temperature in the shower, either too hot or too cold.
We arrived in Niagara Falls, ON a day earlier than planned to beat the first snow storm of the winter and booked this hotel just to have a place to spend the night before going to our vacation hotel. With the low price, we were not expecting much.
The room was large, but dingy and dirty. The air-handling unit made so much noise we decided to switch it off and double up on blankets for warmth.
We were blown away (in the bad sense) in the morning when we rang the reception door bell at 9 am (we were looking for the breakfast room). The manager on duty (who appears to be the owner) came to the door in his pyjamas shorts and under shirt. His attitude was as we we were disturbing his sleep. When we told him we looking for the breakfast room, he told us breakfast is not ready and we should wait outside for 15 minutes. We are being asked to wait outside in a 20 F weather with stong winds. We requested he call us in our room when breakfast is ready.
We we finaly go the the breakfast room, it was dirty and only a few slices of stale bread, half a dozen and muffins and liku warm coffee were available. The coffee is more colored water that coffee. We simply walked out without touchng a thing.
