Watch the parking!

Parking area is part hotel and part metered, with poor signage to distinguish. We ended up getting a ticket AND being charged parking by the hotel - a bit much (and no apologies). Pool area was so overheated as to be unusable.

Truly lovely hotel

The Prince of Wales is simply lovely. Gorgeous inside (our wooden four poster bed was stunning, the bathroom was well appointed), above and beyond customer service (truly, we've never had such over the top customer service - these folks are at the top of their game), fantastic food in Escabeche, their restaurant (still dreaming about the Eggs Benedict), and literally at the center of the charming town.

Great romantic getaway!

The staff were fantastic and the room beautiful! The location of the hotel, right in the heart of the area was perfect for strolling around both to sightsee and to also try out the restaurants and bars at night.

Excellent location

Right in the heart of Niagara on the Lake. With the US Dollar's decrease in value, the hotel is very pricey, but everything about it was top notch.

Gorgeous hotel

Absolutely gorgeous, fully restored hotel. Room was a little small for the king size bed, bathroom was fabulous. Very, very clean. We were able to enjoy the pools at the other 2 properties owned by the same hotel company.

The golf course club house has the best view of the lake and wonderful food. Eat on the patio (different menu than inside the restaurant), well priced and wonderful experience and view.

Beautiful Hotel - Excellent Service

We went to Niagara-on-the Lake for a weekend getaway in January. Unlike in the summer, there's not much to do then, but it's a charming town, a relatively short drive from Niagara Falls. The Prince of Wales is a beautifully appointed hotel, the rooms are comfortable, and the service gracious.

One of the best : Prince of Wales

They do everything right at Prince of Wales. 1st class facility, thoughtful staff, excellent food & in the middle of a guaint town w/ theater nearby. Park the car & walk (or bike) and enjoy the shops, lake, parks & numerous wineries. Almost heaven.

If you tire of the theater / dining; drive about 20 minutes to Niagara Falls for casinos & more diverse excitement.
