Great Spot!
The Hotel is a great spot for active/sporty couples looking to keep busy. Everything from Golf, Tennis, Squash, Volleyball etc. They also have various daily activities you can purchase as half day or day trips. Things like bike tours, hiking tours etc. They also have a SPA for those looking to relax. They have a great little beach for R&R and the biggest kid friendly splash pad I've ever seen. I don't think i saw one un-happy child on the resort. We stayed in one of the 'travelers rooms' which was more than enough for us. It was cheaper than the main resort and close to the beach. Bring a cooler though! No Fridge. The beds we're incredibly comfy and it was quiet to sleep. Meals/Drinks can get expensive on the resort so i would suggest to bring snacks/lunch or work your way into town (10 min drive) to eat at some of the local spots. I'd suggest '3 guys and a stove'. Amazing Breakfast and Service and $12 all you can eat! We ate dinner at the resort both nights and they have 2 great restaurants. One more Pub style (Maples) and another Buffet (Eclipse). Great food! All in all, If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this place may not be for you. If you're looking to have some fun in the sun and stay active, Check out Deerhurst!

A nightmare of a place
We have been staying in Canada for a couple of weeks and this was by far the most expensive and the worst resort we stayed in. Bathroom was covered in mould, air conditioning did not work, shower was faulty. When we complained about the poor quality of the room, all we got was a lame excuse and you need to check out by 10am. Extremely disappointed!

Algonquin Park is 25 miles north of the hotel. However there are many lodges nearer the park that I am sure offer a much better value for money.

Peaceful Place
Deerhurst was fun, my kids loved it. Lots to do, enjoyed local area, 3 Guys and a Stove was close to resort and was amazing- both pricing and food! Very peaceful area.
