Days Inn and Suites Collingwood

This looks like a new hotel to me. Very clean, appreciated the staff's friendliness. I had accidentally booked the wrong rate but the clerk found a way for us to keep the same price - that was awesome! Highly recommend the Collingwood Days Inn.

For the price our stay was a great deal and location wise it was well situated not far from the downtown and not too far from Blue Mountain. The staff were friendly and courteous. The complimentary breakfast was better then most with some hot breakfast options. I would stay there again.

Went to Wasaga Beach and dinner at Tesoro.

The hotel was good the room nice and comfortable, clean, lots of drawers and overall, very good. We were very dissapointed with the breakfast area. Very small, no tables availabe and everybody getting in the way, at the end, we had to take our coffee and bagel, in our hands to our room and eat it there. They should have a bigger breakfast area, they should supply trays so people can pick up everything they need in one trip and don't keep getting up and back into the line where you are trying to get your food. There was not even room to line up and every body was just getting their arms into what ever they neede, regardless of the people waiting.The toasters took for ever and that made the waiting much more agravating as there were hands and arms coming and going in front of our noses for quite a few minutes. PLease look into this such a small issue in the big picture but soooo agravating. If you ask if we would go back I am sorry to say, no we would not.This small things make a difference when you start a new day.

Everything was great!

The Days Inn in Collingwood is quite new and they keep it spotless. Only a couple of minutes from South Base, it's a fine choice for a place to stay when you're skiing at Blue. The staff is great and the breakfast gives you a great start on a day on the slopes. Totally recommend it.

We needed a place to stay overnight/sleep while attending a function that was about a 30 minute drive from the hotel. The staff was not able to help us with directions but gave us maps. Buffet breakfast (1-2 stars) was included so we didn't need to go outside the hotel. There were amenities available that we did not use (pool, internet) so we can't comment on these. The hotel room cost seemed to be the most reasonable in the area (under $150, all in).

This was a new hotel and very clean and fresh. The bed was quite comfortable and service was excellent. The free breakfast was quite adequate and staffed by a competend person. We appreciated that we were permitted to take a breakfast to our room for my wife who is not well. The hotel was well located in an area where there was good shopping and restaurents. However I thought the some of the counter check in staff who were quite young and were not as well trained as they might be.
