Clean, spacious rooms in perfect condition. What makes a hotel is the staff. Stephanie, the owner/manager, is a gem. And her assistant, Kimba, is a gem as well. they straightened out some logistics issues that we had with efficiency and grace. We will stay there again any time we are in Halifax.

Pros & Cons

This hotel is extremely nice- much more than I would have expected from a Comfort hotel. It's brand new and has a very urban vibe. Everything is trendy, calming and manicured. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. My ONLY complaint about this hotel is that there is very little to do without taking a taxi. There is fast food within walking distance (Wendy's and Tim Horton's Coffee) and also a very quaint little Canadian restaurant that was a good tourist spot- good food nice atmosphere. It's actually connected to the hotel. There is a movei theater a mile away but again, you would need a car/cab to get there. This hotel will cost you $70 Canadian money to get to from the airport so $140 roundtrip (not including tip.) If you want seafood or to see the water you will need transportation to get to downtown Halifax- it's about 15 minutes away. This is a good palce to stay if you have a vehicle to get around- otherwise I would suggest staying closer to downtown.
