Step back into another era in this elegant old mansion built at the turn of the century 1904 and fully restored with its heavy plaster moldings and ornate stained glass and beveled windows. This impressive Queen Anne Revival style house was designed built between 1902 and 1904 just north of the intersection of Rennies Mill Road and Monkstown Road in St. Johns. The exterior is clad in shingles and clapboard, with detailing similar to that of Winterholme and Bartra both of which have been designated by the Heritage Foundation. Smoke-free property and grounds. Located in the center of Downtown St Johns within a ten minute walk of Hotels Delta, Fairmont, and Mile One Stadium. Nestled safely on elegant Monkstown Road in well lit area amongst historic cathedrals, theaters and fine restaurants. Almost all tourist attractions within 5 to 10 minute walk. Beautiful Victorian townhouse, large spacious rooms with many amenities, cordless phones, desks, wireless internet, VCRs, DVDs, CCTVs, to fireplaces which can no longer be used by guests because of safety regulations. Bright washrooms, multiple lighting levels, whirlpool tubs, sofas and views of the mansions on the historic properties enclave. Full breakfast with set daily menu. From fresh fruit bowl to standard hot breakfast fare. Room service on request.

Cabot House

after meeting the manager, we immediately cancelled. His demeanor and arrogrance was so over whelming that we did not feel safe. And after he finally found the reservation, we were informed that our room was in the basement... What was posted on the side was far from the actual look, with a lot of clutter and trash, let alone the smell.
