I was driving from Regina to Toronto on a night with extreme weather. I had driven after a full days work. So around one or two am I checked in and turned the heat on and slept right away due to exhaustion. However, when I woke up in the morning,
the heat hadnt worked all night. All the settings were where they should have been and it was just simply acting like a fan. I realized because I woke up barely four to five hours after sleeping due to feeling cold. On my way out I informed the staff and all she said was she will have someone look into it and didnt offer anything for the inconvenience, not that it would have mattered.
We stayed this summer passing thru- it was great! Easy to find and staff were awesome. THey gave us some good restaurants ( Alberts and Margo's) and we chose Alberts - we were soooo full! Then we did a tour of the AIr museum - a must for everyone!
Rooms were very clean and breakfast at 6:30 gave us a good start. We are coming back!
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Long walk from hotel
This is a small restaurant but the owner is also the cook and the food was amazing and great prices and large meals!
arrived to find we were on the second floor, with no elevator! Then entered our room to discover the bed was stripped and hadn't been remade. At least we were given another room. Pretty basic fare with perhaps the smallest tv in any hotel we've
stayed at. Breakfast was also basic...several other traveller's commented they had experienced better stays in Comfort Inns elsewhere.
