Great way to enjoy Whistler

This place has it all. Location, comfort, very helpful staff, just to name a few. Don't really need a car. Walking distance to the lifts, the village shops and restaurants, pubs & grocery stores . Having a kitchen enabled us to have the choice of eating out or cooking/preparing our own meals. Great place for families, couples or singles. Beautiful view of both Blackcomb and Whistler mountains. Can't wait to go back!

Review of Cascades Lodge

It was in a great location, liked how there was a rental place in the lobby where you could put your skiis overnight. The rooms were fairly large, the pull-out couch was very uncomfortable. Rooms could use an upgrade - shower was gross, mouldy shower curtain, drain was plugged. No maid service for 4 days.

Going to stay at Westin next trip...

Quick ski trip during a vacation to Vancouver. Seemed like a great deal, but the mini fridge only functioned to freeze our eggs, water, beer, cheese, butter, etc. making cooking nearly impossible. The sink did not drain, and there was a lingering smell of tuna/wet dog the whole stay. There is only maid service every four days, and other guests would throw their bags of trash into the hall, after a few days of sitting, the neighbor's salmon dinner started to become a bit foul. The location was great, easily accessible from anywhere, close to whistler gondola, and the grocery store, but was not a great deal for the price. Worth it to spend a little extra and get a real hotel room.

Convenient location to the village"

Rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a nice view towards Whistler Village, with the mountain in the background. Conveniently located across the street from restaurants and stores, plus the free shuttle bus stop was just a short walk up the street to connect you to other parts of the village if you decided not to walk. Very beautiful location.

Good Location

I stayed at Whistler Cascade Lodge for New Years and was very satisfied with the location right next to the main Whistler Village entrance. The price was fair and the room was well-equipped with a full kitchen, but there were no cleaning services during my 5 day stay. Overall though, it was a good experience.

The Bearfoot Bistro is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Be sure to get the rib eye with black truffles!
