Nice hotel, but missing things we like (such as a decent shower)
The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and staff professional, but we won't stay there again. The hotel is slightly away from the main village, which we liked, but it backs up to the main road into Whistler, and it was noisy with traffic, even in the wee hours of the morning in the shoulder season. The outdoor pool was dinky (in the summertime, that actually does matter at Whistler, as it gets quite warm), and in the future, I think we would spring for a different place that's set up more as a condo rather than a standard hotel with no kitchen or eating area. The most disappointing thing about the hotel was the shower. It's one of those "rain flow" heads, which the staff claim some people love (but an equal number of people hate), so you never can get all the soap out of your hair, and you also tend to freeze while showering because the light mist doesn't cover your body. So, after an active day of hiking and biking, there's no good shower to look forward to. All in all, not a bad hotel, and if you are looking for a hotel that's close in and has the basics, it's a fine choice. But if you're looking for a great place to relax, stretch out and feel like you're in your home base away from home, keep looking.

Fantastic location, super helpful staff, good price/value
This hotel was great! Staff was so helpful in planning and booking daily activities as well as other general questions. Rooms were pretty small, but it didn't bother us as we were out adventuring most of the time. I would definitely return to this hotel!

Experiencing the great white on a "Boy's" trip
Arrived to friendly reception with detail's on getting first tracks on the mountain. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Mini refridgerator and safe a plus. Parking garage below hotel kept retail car clean of resent snow falls. Ski lockers and lock were provided to keep skiing equipment from clogging up hotel room. Pool and Spa area was very clean and towels were provided just inside. Staff was acceptional. Any needs or questions were taken care of promptly. Great experiance with my two teenaged boys. Dream trip for us. Powder and Blue Bird Sky's can't ask for more.
