Never Expected it to be this GREAT!!!
I was very please when we checked in. I was surprised to find that the room had a stove, small fridge and microwave. At the hotel their was also a club and Chinese Restaurant. We really enjoyed the bar tender that was at the club, he is from New Zealand and he just made the whole experience a blast. Its a little away from Downtown but trust me well worth it.

Value for money
In terms of access to Victoria or the Saanich area, the location is good. Unfortunately due to location, there is a high level of road noise. There is also a great deal of noise from the pool area. The suite was well appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable. The supplies, such as coffee and toiletries were skimpy. The chairs in the living room were good to look at but uncomfortable. For the price, it is a good value for families but I think that the noise level is a factor to be considered.

Convenient location, hard to find
The hotel is clean and modern, has airconditioning and a good Chinese restaurant on site. It is conveniently located to see both Victoria harbor (not walking distance), and get to the airport easily. It is set away from Douglas street and can be hard to find first time. Parking is scarce near the Inn. Bit noisy from street trafic but AC drowns it out.

Good vacation HQ
This hotel was the cheapest thing to be found in Victoria, BC, and so this was my motivation for booking. However, I was pleasantly surprised to note that though it's not right downtown and is on a rather busy road, the Red Lion in has the Galloping Goose trail just behind it, making it possible to leave the hotel and get downtown in 10 minutes by bike!
