Great View of Harbor

Stayed in a one bedroom plus living room suite on 11th floor. It had a kitchen on one end. We really enjoyed the harbor view. The furniture could stand to be updated and a little more comfortable. Nice having a separate bedroom and two TVs. The bathroom was not overly big.

Money-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

Restaurants are very expensive. The Stickey Wicket Restaurant was more reasonable than most and the food was good. The Empress Hotel Tea was very over priced.

AWESOME HOTEL

A great place to stay with with kids. My girlfriend and I took our 3 kids to visit family in victoria, we had the suite w/ the kitchen for 2 nights and had family over for a simple dinner. the kitchen comes well equipped!! It cut down the cost of going out to eat. The kids loved the pool and we used it 3 times in 2 days. took in the royal bc museum which was walking distance. I would definately stay there again. The cost for such a large suite with a kitchen and a nice view was so reasonable. The room was clean, staff very helpful and prompt to answer our questions. They even ran a wine bottle opener up to our room when we requested it. The rooms were quiet and spacious.

Great value, high quality hotel

The front desk was courteous, apologetic, and even upgraded us to a penthouse suite. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a huge balcony that looked out over Victoria Harbour. The shampoo, soap etc. was from the spa in the hotel. Hotel parking in the garage was convenient and valuables inside the car stayed safe. Location is ideal, we came from the ferry and the hotel is about a block away. Parliament building and downtown are about a five minutes walk from the front door. Great location, accessible to everything yet on a quiet street. Would highly recommend and would gladly stay here again.

Great Location for walking tour

The Harbour Towers was very comfortable for the two of us and satisfied out needs. It was close to the downtown action and the Harbour, which was great since we did a lot of walking. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other visitors to Victoria.

a bit pricey for the money

I did like that the room had a separate bedroom, as my husband and I have varying sleep patterns. My husband found a box w/left over food stuffs in the microwave on the 2nd day of our stay. There is a sign in the bathroom that requests cooperation w/saving energy, etc by using towels more than once - directing you to put towels in the bath tub that you wanted replaced. We both hung our bath towels, intending to use them again the next morning, but upon return after cleaning staff had been there, we had all new towels. One elevator was out of service during most of our 2 day stay, and the other was very slow. Not good for a hotel that has more than 6 floors of rooms. Our view consisted mostly of the roof top of the dining room, and was farther away from Wharf St than it appears on the accompanying map, there was an event on that street so I looked at multiple properties in order to find within comfortable walking distance. Desk clerk(s) & bell hop very friendly and helpful!

Pleasant Experience

I was pleasantly surprised. My room was clean, modern and comfortable. It wasn't overly large, but for one person was more than adequate and would have worked for two people. I checked in and out quickly and the staff was pleasant. I was able to walk everywhere, but the hotel was far enough from the central city to be quiet. I even had a bit of a view of the city from my balcony. I would stay at this hotel again.

Downtown Victoria is several blocks away...very easy to walk. The Inner Harbor, Museum, and Beacon Hill Park are all within a few blocks.
