B- Hotel

Overall it's an OK hotel. Pretty much everything is mediocre. Location is good with lots restaurants and shops near by since we don't have a car. The hotel room is old and a little bit dark, but it's clean and well-maintained. Free breakfast (no eggs or meat) saves you a couple bucks. If you're travel on a budget but don't wanna live in hostels, this will be a good choice.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

For those who enjoy treasure hunting, there is an used CD shop right across the street and a second-hand clothes shop near by on Yates. I found some good deals at both stores and it was fun.

The hotel smells very strong (both

The hotel smells very strong (both lobby and guest floors) but will get used to it after an hour or two. There is no air conditioning in the room which made me very surprise. The room temperature was so hot I can't even stay in the room and can't sleep until it cool down (1-2AM). The staff promised to change me to the room with AC in the next day, once I ask about it she couldn't remember. Breakfast is not great, very basic. Make sure you request for the room with AC as a fan doesn't help at all. I am not sure if I will come back to this hotel. I rather try different hotel next time.
