Nice location... would stay there again

The best feature of this hotel is it's location! The room was spacious (I got an upgrade) and clean. The staff was friendly ... and helpful. The only detractor was that there was only one mirror in the room and it was located in the bathroom, which made getting ready for the evening more difficult.

This hotel was fabulous...very classy (just like me,ha, ha.)we loved it...the bed was so comfortable we could have SLEPT all ... day...location was perfect for going downtown, if I can walk to it that's what I like. 2 Rooms and couldn't have been any more plush...just wish we could have stayed longer but the cruise ship wouldn't wait...spoil sports...

Approximately 3 blocks from the hotel is a place called Crepe Express (on Granville) with the best maple-syrup crepes I've ever tasted!

The hotel was great. We had a corner suite, which was spacious and perfect for our family of 5. The service was excellent ... and the location very convenient to public transport. The hotel is located on the eastern side of downtown, so it's not in the upscale "west end" part, but there were tons of reasonably priced restaurants, pubs, and even a grocery store all within just a couple of blocks of the hotel, which was great. The suites all have a mini-kitchen (no stove, but there was an oven, microwave, toaster, & dishwasher) which made breakfast and late night snacks easy.

The hotel is situated a great location, just blocks from Yaletown, Robson Street, waterfront (including the Olympic ... improvements), and Davie Street. It's not too far from the freeways and we parked in the hotel and drove to Commercial Drive and Richmond.

i toured vancouver,vancouver island,and whisler.i visited museums,rode public transportation. grand westin's location on ... robson street was just perfect---near everything---resturants,shopping,bars,ets.i would definitely stay here again.

Most friendly people,very,very helpful. Room was spotless,quiet. Nice to have kitchenette. The bellmen were especially ... helpful. A concierge, Meaghean, was terrific. great location. A very good experience.A mirror or two could easily be added to the bedroom.

Superb seafood and ambience at Joe Forte's Seafoood on Thurlow street.Also, take the public transportation:it's easy and inexpensive.

The location, food, friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, and comfort were all beyond reproach. We plan to return to ... Vancouver and would not consider another hotel. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world in the past 45 years, many more plush, but none any better.
