Perhaps inspired by the abundance of natural beauty, every detail of the Westin Bayshore is lovely and well executed. The highest quality linens and exclusive Heavenly Beds, unbelievable ocean vistas and absolute pampering at the on-site spa wrap guests in splendor at every turn.
Highlights
- Gorgeous Stanley Park to one side, fantastic harbor views to the other
- Named on Condé Nast Traveler's Gold List in 2002
- Whale watching tours depart from the on-site dock
Rooms
Recently redecorated guestrooms and suites of the Westin Bayshore showcase an earthy palette and classic, comfortable furnishings. Views from floor to ceiling windows, sliding glass doors and private balconies take center stage in many of the rooms--it's hard to beat the incredible mountain, ocean and city scenery. All rooms have the hotel's signature Heavenly Bed (designed for a great night's sleep in exquisite comfort), large TV and high-speed Internet access (fees apply).
Features
This phenomenal location offers guests an immediate connection with nature while enjoying the excitement of a cosmopolitan city. At the Westin Bayshore, guests are right on the water, just steps from the gorgeous 1,000-acre urban forest bordering the city and a short walk to trendy boutiques, fascinating plays and world-class cuisine. Enjoy the marina views at the hotel's on-site restaurants: Currents at Bayshore (reservations recommended) or the more casual Seawall Bar & Grill. The refined Vida Spa blends the ancient Indian science of Ayurveda with the best in Western healing philosophies to help guests relax and rejuvenate.

Superb service, comfort and location
This was our final day and night on vacation and simply topped off a wonderful trip to British Columbia. The staff was very helpful - concierge mapped a downtown Vancouver bus trip (public transportation) for us to get to a specific store on the other end of town. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. The location was right on the harbor with walking and bike paths and just a short walk to Stanley Park.

Vancouver BC
I Have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and it is in a perfect location; walking distance to downtown and stanley park. Views of Coal Harbour are great so make sure to get one unless you rather face downtown. My Wife and I went to Cin Cin for dinner and it is great (make reservation). We rented bikes right next to the hotel and took a ride around stanley park along the seawall. Then of to a Canucks (NHL) game. Overall Vancouver is a great city to just relax and get away.

Honeymoon getaway
We had a great time, but it was a short stay. the breakfast buffet was totally overpriced , but good. The concierge had great advice but his 35-40 min walk turned out to take 55 min to an hour. It was nice though. The waitress at the breakfast was great, helpful, friendly and very outgoing.

Expensive but very nice and great central location for site seeing in Vancouver. Close to Stanley Park and right on the marina. Nice place to walk. Rooms were upscale.

Lovely hotel with beautiful view
Lovely hotel with beautiful view across the water. An easy walk to Stanley Park. Very attentive and friendly service. Love the complementary lemon infused water in reception. Meals were delicious and good value. Outside pool temperature very warm, but a lovely view from the pool area.
