I love this Hotel. The room is

I love this Hotel. The room is tastefully furnished and great beds. Shower is rather small and I can see how bigger people can knock themselves out in it. The eggs bene are like they said, the best in BC. Great location as well. Reception was efficient and House Keeping was super clean. Keep up the good work. Only 1 negative is that the serving staff in O Douls were not really friendly.

Great Get-away Location

We had a great romantic trip to Vancouver, and the Listel added to the experience. It is a good value for nice rooms and prompt service. O'Douls, the bar/restaurant in the hotel, was a great place to un-wind after the long drive to get to Vancouver. Pricey for what you get, but still it was a wonderful location with live Jazz. Parking at the hotel was $60 for the weekend, but the car is safe.

Great base for exploring Vancouver

Very quiet room, native art in rooms and halls, within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping, good but pricey hotel restaurant (all Vancouver food is pricey), free wine reception. Security gate in garage makes self-parking impractical, pillow was like a rock, no pool/spa.

Nice hotel on Robson

We went for one overnight stay for a quick mini-vacation and found the hotel very nice. It's a little pricey but it was clean. The restaurant O'Doul's was also very nice. Had to send back my steak because it was medium instead of medium-rare, but my husband's scallops were perfect. We would stay there again. Added bonus: wi-fi and phone calls to the US are included! (because it's an added tax, but still).

Very environmental!

At this hotel, the toiletries are out of dispensers, which is how all hotels should handle shampoos, soaps, and lotions. This cuts down on the trash from the plastic bottles and waste. I love that there's a bin for recyclables in each room. The decor is very nice and contemporary. There is a lot thought-provoking art all around. I would recommend this hotel to stay at.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Across the street is a sushi place called Miko, that has good, straight-up authentic japanese sushi. This place doesn't have a lot of the frou-frou fancy fusion rolls with special sauces. It's just the basics, but they are delicious. They can make a dragon roll or rainbow roll, but it's not on the menu. Good for the price. A favorite of hockey players, local and visiting.

lovely experience, great location

The stay at the hotel was great. The location was perfect and the price was good as well except for the parking charges which I thought were a bit too high, but all in all the service was really great.
