Great place to stay!!!

This hotel was awesome and I will definitely be going back. Not only was I gratuitously upgraded to an amazing Garden Terrace room that had its own patio and beautiful view, but the staff was amazing and the room itself was immaculately clean. The location was also an A+. The only thing that I can complain about is the fact that the room did not have a dock for an iPhone or a way of playing music using bluetooth on my phone.

Beautiful hotel, but check the mattress for firmness.

The hotel is beautiful and everything was great. Except I went to bed before my husband. During the night we both found ourselves in the center of the mattress, very uncomfortable. Too late to do anything about the bed. Next morning, the front desk apologized, but did not offer any compensation.

Pay for WiFi - REALLY?

The room was supposed to provide accomodation for four, but only had two "large single beds". The hotel's solution was a "cot" i.e. a bed that was too short for a teenager. To add insult to injury, we had to pay C$15 per day for WiFi...

Great Hotel.. Great Location!

Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Great experience. There were some renovations being done so there wasn't really a nice lounge/meeting area except for a small area we had to search to find... Other than that, it was very nice!

Very ordinary

Nothing like other Fairmont hotels I have stayed before. Go with the Fairmont Pacific Rim if you have a choice. Fairmont Waterfront rooms are old. I felt like I was at Holiday Inn or at some other cheaper hotel. Renovation is going on currently. So, heard drilling noise all day on day 1 (until 5 PM). Overall....very ordinary experience.

Beautiful place at the waterfront

This is a very nice hotel with the most helpful, friendly staff, who go out of their way to provide very good service. There was not a single person who was indifferent or provide mediocre service. It was a little pricey, but they make it worth the money you are spending. I got probably the cheapest room but I still got a very good view!
