Absolutely top place to stay >after long flights from Australia via LAX & checking in at 1.00am ,the staff from this night & every other day of our 4 day stay could not have been more helpful or Courteous.

The staff were very friendly & super helpful!! The room decor is modern-simple & have everything you need for a short stay. Nearby eatries & supermarket also made the stay convinient. Good location near 2 train stations. Not the fanciest hotel around but it's definitely a good & comfortable hotel. Would definitely return & recommend this hotel.

Fabulous 'find'. Boutique style
Fabulous 'find'. Boutique style hotel, v helpful staff (do ask about cheap Asian eats) and close to transport and the city. Step out the door, look down Seymour st. to Grouse Mtn-wow. Chocs on pillow the crowning glory, 24hr coffee spot across the road. Will stay there again.... congrats to the team there. First timers (as I was) train in from airport and about 200 metres walk...yes easy with roller suitcases. Then two doors to train to connect to Greyhound bus for Vancouver Island. How easy was that!!

Small character Hotel with small
Small character Hotel with small excellent rooms. The breakfast is a great bonus, Thank you Tammy for your excellent service for breakfast. My one concern is that I had tried to arrange a higher floor (weeks in advance after the booking) and was disappointed with a 2nd floor room. I have stayed at this hotel prior to this and they did nothing to accomodate me. The front desk staff seemed to think that they were because I wasn't on the first floor. Overall very good value, excellent location but tends to be quite noisy in the evenings (when you are on a lower floor).

Great hotel! This was my first
Great hotel! This was my first trip to Vancouver, so I don't have other options to compare it against, but the hotel was newly remodeled and everything was very clean. They have a great restaurant/bar attached to the hotel, and the place was pretty active after work hours. Room wasn't very big, but the bathroom was great and the bed was comfortable. They also offer a free voucher to work out at Steve Nash's workout club one block away. One downfall was that it was fairly noisy at night. Granted they were filming both a TV show and a movie outside when i was there. I slept fine, but a coworker had trouble. The hotel is right downtown and within walking distance to everything - great restaurants, the Convention Centre (canada place). 4 star hotel for sure.

Our room was very neat and tidy,
Our room was very neat and tidy, was cleaned and bed remade daily. St Regis is in the best location, close to all major sites in Vancouver Downtown with very easy access to buses and the North Vancouver ferry. The staff at St Regis are the most helpful and friendly that my husband and I have ever seen! They were fantastic! Room also includes a awesome breakfast daily, we had a chance to order hot food, the pastries were amazing, and also a good selection of fruit with toast, juice, tea & coffee. All in all a fantastic stay, will definately stay again next visit and would recommend to anyone.

This is a Heritage hotel, so expect
This is a Heritage hotel, so expect smaller, even oddly laid out rooms, and a small slow single elevator but all the furnishings, millwork and finishings are updated, modern and stylish. The location is central to downtown, Gas Town and Yale Town. There is attention and design to make the operation of the hotel more "green" with individual thermostats and a single master switch at the door for all lights. The room is also very media friendly with an input bar over the desk for component, mini-stereo, digital video and USB inputs for the LG flatscreen as well as four AC plugins at 90 degree offsets to accomodate all power bricks. The breakfast is HUGE. Breads, yogurt, cereals, juices and fruit at "help youself" plus a cooked to order breakfast of eggs, potatos, saugage, ham or bacon. The staff is the friendliest most service oriented hotel staff I have ever experienced and I usually stay at Fairmont properties which I consider pretty good.
