Not bad, not great.

I would have to say that this hotel is simply average. The service was good although they had only two people checking people in and there was quite a line-up (there was a large convention in town). Also, the beds were only doubles which seems small for a hotel that seems to be presenting itself as an affordable luxury hotel.

Excellence in the middle of everything

We stopped in Vancouver before cruising out to Alaska and staying at the Wall Center was great because it is centrally localled downtown. The trolley tour around town picks up right out front of the hotel.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Catch the Vancouver Trolley there is two routes and they cover the whole city for around $40.00 per person for 2 days. They go everywhere Stanely Park, Granville island market, chinatown and gastown.

Unbeatable for the price and location

We had to book trip fairly last minute. We went onto Orbitz and booked a hotel room . After a long travel day and arriving at 2:00 am, when we checked in at the front desk, they greeted us with friendly smiles and upgraded us to a complete 2 bdrm/2 bthrm suite with living room, kitchen and dinning area totally free!!!! We were stunned and need I say totally pleased!!

Never was this far west in Canada. Great city with lots to offer for fun, sport and siteseeing. If you love sushi - this is the place to go. Lot's of things to do. We will have to come again, still lots to see.

Enjoyable stay only one negative

The staff was very helpful and polite. They appear to enjoy their jobs. The only negative that I encountered was the extremely expensive room service. For example, one glass of milk was $5.00 that's a lot of money. If you stay there and want to eat branch out quickly and stop at one of the many nearby bistros and sidewalk eateries around there. The hotel food was good but combine the price of the food with the $4.00 room service delivery charge, plus the added 15% gratuity and you can plan on paying anywhere from $22 and way up for just one person to eat via room service. BIG PLUS: They have a business center that has high-speed internet that you can use for free in the center. If you want it in your room, there is a fee but it is resonable, however, I opted to use the free business center. I'd stay at the Wall Centre again but will walk to food and drinks.

Make use of the activities desk and look at the brochures. Let them make reservations for excursions for you. The city offers a lot, so go out and see it!

Fantastic family getaway for the price.

We did the peak 2 peak and the market on Sunday, walked and went into the village. We didn't know there was so much for the kids (didn't show these events on web-site) so we didn't take our kids. so now we are saving to go next summer and take ours kids. We was so amazing.
