Great value for downtown

The price was great. Location downtown walking distance to everywhere. Room was clean and comfortable. Check-in and out were easy and painless. Hallways and elevator a bit old and dingy but other than that no complaints.

Good location

Not a bad location. Don't need a car if your staying here, Sky Train is a few block down and buses run often. Most venues are within walking distance and TIm Horton's is always open 24 hours. I didn't have much interaction with the staff other than checking in and out. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Not much more I can ask. Granted I stayed here during midweek, so it was a bit more on the calm side.

Good Value

It's in a colorful part of old Vancouver, but I like that vibe. Plenty of nearby coffeehouses and restaurants and easy access to bus and train. I would stay there again. The staff was helpful.

Great location

Nice room with comfortable bed. They let me check in early at no charge because they had an vacancy. I didn't notice any bad smells like other reviewers and when I checked in the front desk clerk placed me away from the disco so that noise was not an issue. Its a short walk from the Canadian Line Yale town station to the hotel. Just go to Davies st and walk up the hill to Granville and its on the other side of the street on your left Easy to find. That being said the noise from the room above me was pretty loud the last night of my stay. It sounded like they were having a hockey game or something (I'm not kidding). All in all I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I can't imagine that all guest are as noisy as the revelers were above me.

Long-week end get-away without a car

This was a great location for staying to see the sites. Public transportation readily available. Just across the bridge to Granville Island. The room was clean and quiet. Only real deficiency was no free breakfast. They have a breakfast you can buy for extra. I chose to eat in the many coffee shops in the neighborhood, Yaletown- very upscale. The hotel itself is on the edge of Yaletown and is very old but has been redone. The rooms are nice, the hallways could use some work. I would stay there again for the price and convenience.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Get to Expo line by catching number 7 bus on other side of Granville to Dunsimur Get Cananda line by taking C23 on Davie to the Yaletown Roundhouse or you can walk about 4-5 blocks on Davie

Satisfied

Great location easy to get around to lots of different sites and attractions in downtown. area immediately around the hotel is a little run down. Hotel staff very nice. Hotel room was nice, very large bed for a queen size. Overall the hallways in the hotel were a bit dirty and a little old, but the rooms were nice and clean.
