Comfort at a great price in the lower mainland
Only 20 minutes from Vancouver International airport, this lower mainland location is great for business or leisure travel. Good enough for the price
Average hotel experience. Room was clean. However the walls are rather thin. The thermostat is also preset and the guest cannot lower the temperature other than by turning it off and/or opening the window. It was a cold and rainy week. Staff was pleasant though I can say only one (Chinese guy, didn't get his name) seemed to go beyond what was expected. I booked it based on the so-called decent reviews (and a 3-night discount) found here but they did not match the reality we experienced. So I feel compelled to write this. The price made it bearable.

Yearly Vancouver Visitor
Clean and convenient
Hotel is not located in Metrotown, but rather 5 mins away from Metrotown. It is super convenient location for my travels to visit family. The Safeway market next door is nice. I rented a car while there, but Kingsway is very convenient for buses and also for the Sky Train. Hotel is clean, staff is very friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are nice. My only issue is the fact that there is not enough electrical outlets for charging all my various items overnight for use the next day. There seemed to be only one outlet available (unless you want to keep the light on in the bathroom as the outlet in the bathroom is controlled by the light switch in the bathroom). But I am definitely coming back here again.

Short drive from hotel
When in Vancouver, if you like Japanese, you have to try Guu on Robson. It is a drive to downtown to get there, but well worth the trip.

Hotel room was clean was spacious
Hotel room was clean was spacious but the corridors were very knocked about and needed upgrading. Not worth the money considering no breakfast / location etc.

Post Cruise Stay
My main objective was a discount price located close to public transportation to allow us to sight see Vancouver on the cheap. The closest bus was just across the street. However, we learned by walking 2 blocks we could avoid an extra zone transportation charge. The sky train was a little less than a mile away, but you could catch a bus to it and avoid walking much. The bus, sky train (and sea bus which we didn't use) is a network. You pay once ($2.50) and have 90 minutes to complete your trip. We purchased a $25 booklet for $19 at an adjacent Safeway.

The hotel is looking a bit tatty
The hotel is looking a bit tatty in places and really needs a refurbishment. Our room was OK, it was clean and adequate for our needs. The location is some 15 mins walk to the nearest Skytrain station and then some 30 mins to central Vancouver.

location okay
hotel location noisy, I stay six days and miss two days clean up room for me, keep remind a lot of time service office and still nobody come to clean up.

The hotel is very good and i will recommend it for anyone who's looking for a great location at an affordable price. The location is one of the best you can have in Metrotown Vancouver
