Great hotel in a great location!!!

Would recommend Thu, Mar 19, 2015
Stayed in this hotel as it was close to VGH. The check in experience was quick. Had a great view of downtown Vancouver from my room. The room itself was very clean and the bed quite comfy. Was also surprisingly quiet due to the fact that the hotel is located near a busy street and hospital. Would definitely recommend this hotel )

Easy place to stay. Nice views with a balcony. Take the SkyTrain downtown. Robes in the closet. Would recommend again, no sweat.

Comfortable Hotel

Would recommend Tue, May 27, 2014
The hotel is not particularly close to the Downtown centre but is served by a very good public transport network. It takes about 15 minutes to get to Downtown and buses regularly. Several bus stops are within 2-3 minutes walk and these take you to most greater Vancouver destinations, including the Skytrain which will take you by faster route to more distant locations. Fares are reasonable, Canadian$2.75 or $1.75 for over 60s. This fare covers you for travel on the bus or Skytrain and is valid for 90 minutes, so you can hop on and off to get you around Vancouver quite comprehensively. The tickets are zoned but if you need to travel out of zone you simply add money onto your ticket. The drivers don't carry change, so make sure you carry sufficient with you; if you give him $20 that's what you'll pay . Reception staff were very polite and helpful and can provide local maps and advice on tourist attractions and how to get to them by cheapest and most direct route. Car hire is available from offices adjacent to the hotel. There are ample eating places locally but one of the best value places is Denny's which is a 10 minute stroll up West Broadway. The hotel is listed as 3 star and it more than adequately earns them. If you don,t need luxury and want a competitively priced accommodation, this is for you. The room was clean and comfortable. The only things lacking were a private room safe and a kettle. A deposit box is available at the reception and a coffee percolator is provided (I suppose you could put a tea bag in the coffee percolator).

A good place to lay your head but not a home away from home

Would recommend Thu, Feb 6, 2014
The staff at this hotel was probably its biggest selling point. Other pros would be that it is pet friendly and there is a drug store and coffee shop directly across the street. The beds are very comfortable but the double room isn't exactly spacious. The water pressure of he shower was crazy powerful, the TV reception was poor at times and the elevator went down for a few hours while we stayed. Also, if your going for an extended amount of time there is a $16/day charge for parking which could add up.

Great value for price and location

Would recommend Tue, Nov 19, 2013
For the location, price, and quality, this is a great hotel. The lobby and elevator were under construction so I can't really comment on that - they seemed fairly average. However, the actual rooms were great, with modern detailing in the room and bathroom, comfortable beds, and all of the standard amenities including fridge, coffee, tea, hair dryer, etc. I'd definitely stay here again. I'm rating it 4 stars simply because I know you can stay in much fancier hotels, but again, this is a great value.

conveniently located

Would recommend Tue, Oct 1, 2013
This is a clean urban hotel that was well located for the three events I had to attend in Vancouver, all in different parts of the city. The hotel seemed centrally located. The staff was helpful and intelligent. I had several problems which I needed their help on and they came through. The price was right, the room was clean and comfortable and quiet, the hotel was well located (if you have a car) and the staff was helpful, so...it was all fine. I didn't use any amenities or room service.

Our stay at the Park was perfect. The staff were friendly, the room clean and comfortable, and close to the hospital. We were also offered a free room upgrade with a view.

Great view but a bit noisy

Would recommend Mon, Sep 23, 2013
A large, clean and comfortable room. Convenient location for Vancouver's great public transport network. Very helpful staff. Terrific view of the cityscape especially at night. Situated on a busy main street with consequent noise. Good value so I would return.

Dining

Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar. Great selection of beers. The Brussels Sprouts starter (yes, really!) is outstanding.

Best Choice in Vancouver BC

Would recommend Fri, May 31, 2013
For half the price of the city center hotels and the very best views of downtown and the mountains, Park Inn is always my choice when visiting Vancouver. Great restaurants within walking distance, and several public transportation options nearby make this the perfect location. Did I mention the views? Spend the extra money for the vista view option (generally 5-10 dollars extra).
