So convenient to cruise terminals. Very easy to disembark and embark again. Enjoyed the waterfront and seawall stroll, the ... easy access to Gastown, the red & blue trolley lines. We got to visit Granville Island, Chinatown and Stanley Park all in one day and enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub under the stars and city lights that night. The front desk staff were very helpfull and friendly. They had suggested the trolley which turned out to be a wonderful way to spend the day. They even found a bottle of super glue for us to temporarily repair a pair of eyeglasses.

Great Room, Great Location, Ltd Dining
MG Pilot Sep 14, 2009
Just stayed for 1 night on a pass through for travel from Asia. The Room was great, as was the Hotel location. Staff and ... service was generally great, but did have poor service in their lunch buffet restaurant when we ordered off the menu - the manager stepped up and took care of the issues though, including assisting with the table service - can't ask for much more. Only 2 restaurants in the Hotel, one only open for dinner, but there are lots of retaurants a short walk away. Would love to stay here for a longer time !

Great if you are taking a cruise!
Elizabeth R Sep 14, 2009
Wonder hotel. We had a medical emergency in the form of forgotten medication to take on cruise. The hotel had an on call ... doctor who did a consultation, ordered replacement medication and had it delivered that evening. The whole incident was painless! This service was top notch all the way and the staff was wonderful.

Beautiful Holtel - Great vew & Location
2th Dr Aug 24, 2009
We were traveling for business and stayed here because it was very close to the conference. Some Pre-Olympic construction was ... being completed on the building so this was a bit of a mess but it was managed very well. The hotel restaurant is not as great as others in the area. The coffee shop restaurant is very nice as is the bar. They were very accommodating in both places to special dietary needs. This place has wonderful special touch amenities, we were tickled with the rugs in the elevators. They are changed daily (just after midnight we learned) and have the name of the day of the week on the rug! The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The hotel is within walking distance to several "must-see" areas of Vancouver, Stanley Park, Gastown and the city Center area near the convention center. I had a need to use the business center. The help was prompt, efficient, courteous, and I received my documents in record time.

EXCELLENT HOTEL~ ORBITZ CHARGED too much
KAYEF Jun 21, 2009
My concern is that we paid just under $300. whereas many on our cruise got this hotel for just over $150. which included ... breakfast. I don't think I'd use Orbitz again.

Right across the street and downstairs is a good sized Food Court for quick, inexpensive snacks. The outside diding at PanPacific was excellent. Starbucks is right by the front door and was the only business that gave the correct rate when we used US money............all others just pocketed the difference. Starbucks, as a result, had cheaper coffee than even McDonalds.

The Pan Pacific in Vancouver is one of my favorite places to stay. The lobby and lounge area have a great view of the Lion's ... Gate Bridge, Stanley park and the water. The staff is friendly and professional and the food is great. While sitting in the lounge I caught part of their Italian Opera and Buffet night, talk about fine dining and entertainment!

I don't mind paying to stay in a nice hotel, but I DO mind paying copious amounts of money to use the internet - $6.20 for 20 ... minutes on their computer or $15 on wireless internet, or to use the phone - simply dialing out (despite using a phone card) cost me $2 a call.
