Incredible views from nearly every suite atop the iconic Canada Place
The five sails of Canada Place welcome guests to this uniquely British Columbian luxury hotel. High above the scenic harbor, guests enjoy spectacular vistas of the mountains, Stanley Park and the city skyline from nearly every room. In this perfect spot for exploring the city, guests have easy access to the Cruise Ship Terminal (adjacent to the hotel), all the activities of Canada Place (including the IMAX Theater), and Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Vancouver World Trade Centre office complex and Pacific Centre Mall are also within blocks.
Highlights
- Comfort and convenience with phenomenal scenic views
- Excellent location for access to Canada Place, cruise ship terminal, VCEC
- Five Sails, award winning restaurant and bar, on the premises
Rooms
All the suites are beautifully decorated with simple, elegant colors and furnishings, but each view is unique. Guests can choose from City, Inner Harbor, Harbor Mountain, and Premiere (with views of Stanley Park and Coal Harbor). Some suites also include a separate sitting area and are very spacious at 1,650 square feet. All guest rooms include flat-screen televisions and high-speed Internet access.
Features
Stunning views top the list of features for this downtown luxury hotel, but there are plenty of others not far behind. Award-winning cuisine at the on-site Five Sails restaurant, spacious suites with modern amenities and proximity to the Cruise Ship Terminal are also worth a mention. The location is great for business travelers, considering the proximity to Vancouver World Trade Centre, Vancouver Convention and Expo Center, and the Burrard Street Skytrain station. Pan Pacific is also pet-friendly, close to Robson Street shopping, and has one of the city's best spas on the premises.
Dining
Make reservations at the Five Sails Restaurant for award-winning West Coast cuisine and spectacular views of the mountains and harbor. Scenic Vista
We had a terrific room on the 22nd floor overlooking the harbor. It was breathtaking. On the 23rd floor was a complimentary breakfast and happy hour that added significant value to the reservation. The breakfast included hot and cold items, including omelets, lox, fresh fruits. Overall, very nicely done. I was participating in a conference at the convention center next door so the location was the best. Overall the room was good, bed comfortable, and very quiet. The bathroom facilities were adequate for the space but a little small for 5 star rating. Providing binoculars was a nice touch for viewing the harbor action, small float planes taking off, cruise ships coming in (they did not obstruct our view on the 22nd floor), and other small boats. For those extremely picky in 5 star ratings the ambiance was not one of extreme luxury but utilitarian luxury. I did not use the spa but the pool was well used by families. It was not good for serious swimmers looking for a workout, however. I would come back to this hotel for the scenic vista and the 23rd floor offerings.

travel and stay package for Vancouver
I was at the Pan Pacific Vancouver for a two-day conference at the convention center, attached to the hotel, and then stayed on for three nights for sight seeing with my daughter. The hotel is comfortable with a great view and very nice accommodations. The staff members, all of them, were fantastic.

Excellent value for the area
I just stayed at the Pan Pacific for a conference at the convention center - this is the closest hotel to the convention center West and actually is the same building as the convention center East. There are several restaurants adjacent to the hotel including a fancier food court via underground tunnel from the hotel ground floor lobby. This hotel is at the very beginning of the "sea wall" which is a walking/biking path going over 8 miles out around Stanley Park - it is perfect for a run or late-night walk with several restaurants right along the path including a Gelato place and two seafood places about a half mile and mile out. While it is somewhat pricey, it is great for the area. The Wifi is $4.95 a day. Its is also very close to the Canada Line to the airport, the AirTrane line, and Gastown.

Beautiful Holtel - Great vew & Location
We were traveling for business and stayed here because it was very close to the conference. Some Pre-Olympic construction was being completed on the building so this was a bit of a mess but it was managed very well. The hotel restaurant is not as great as others in the area. The coffee shop restaurant is very nice as is the bar. They were very accommodating in both places to special dietary needs. This place has wonderful special touch amenities, we were tickled with the rugs in the elevators. They are changed daily (just after midnight we learned) and have the name of the day of the week on the rug! The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The hotel is within walking distance to several "must-see" areas of Vancouver, Stanley Park, Gastown and the city Center area near the convention center. I had a need to use the business center. The help was prompt, efficient, courteous, and I received my documents in record time.

Pan Pacific Vancouver
Perfect location on the water in Vancouver. Service and amenities equal to the Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton, but not as stuffy. One of the best city hotels I've ever stayed in.

The Hotel is very famous. just short walk from public transportation station. It's really comfortable. The only negative point is that you have not free internet in your room with such high price payment!!!

Absolutely beautiful views of Vancouver
The Pan Pacific in Vancouver is one of my favorite places to stay. The lobby and lounge area have a great view of the Lion's Gate Bridge, Stanley park and the water. The staff is friendly and professional and the food is great. While sitting in the lounge I caught part of their Italian Opera and Buffet night, talk about fine dining and entertainment!
