Incredible views from nearly every suite atop the iconic Canada Place
The five sails of Canada Place welcome guests to this uniquely British Columbian luxury hotel. High above the scenic harbor, guests enjoy spectacular vistas of the mountains, Stanley Park and the city skyline from nearly every room. In this perfect spot for exploring the city, guests have easy access to the Cruise Ship Terminal (adjacent to the hotel), all the activities of Canada Place (including the IMAX Theater), and Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Vancouver World Trade Centre office complex and Pacific Centre Mall are also within blocks.
Highlights
- Comfort and convenience with phenomenal scenic views
- Excellent location for access to Canada Place, cruise ship terminal, VCEC
- Five Sails, award winning restaurant and bar, on the premises
Rooms
All the suites are beautifully decorated with simple, elegant colors and furnishings, but each view is unique. Guests can choose from City, Inner Harbor, Harbor Mountain, and Premiere (with views of Stanley Park and Coal Harbor). Some suites also include a separate sitting area and are very spacious at 1,650 square feet. All guest rooms include flat-screen televisions and high-speed Internet access.
Features
Stunning views top the list of features for this downtown luxury hotel, but there are plenty of others not far behind. Award-winning cuisine at the on-site Five Sails restaurant, spacious suites with modern amenities and proximity to the Cruise Ship Terminal are also worth a mention. The location is great for business travelers, considering the proximity to Vancouver World Trade Centre, Vancouver Convention and Expo Center, and the Burrard Street Skytrain station. Pan Pacific is also pet-friendly, close to Robson Street shopping, and has one of the city's best spas on the premises.
Dining
Make reservations at the Five Sails Restaurant for award-winning West Coast cuisine and spectacular views of the mountains and harbor. Or stop by the Cascades Lounge for upscale bistro fare and live jazz. The outdoor heated saltwater pool, Pan Pacific Fitness Room, and Utopia Spa, one of the best in the city, are also features not to be missed.

Top class, top location
The executive club level is outstanding offering breakfast, evening canapes, complementary internet, free papers, bottled water & chocs with the turn down service, exclusive check-in, dedicated concierge, free tea & coffee all day, and stunning top floor views. So you get a lot of bang for your extra bucks. I would recommend it to anybody.

Average hotel at a premium price
Spent the weekend in Vancouver, and stayed at this hotel. The amenities are below average for the price. Bathroom is small with a motel 6 bathtub/shower. No full size mirror. No iPhone hookup for music. No dimmer for lighting; it's either bright or completely dark. You have to pay for internet at a hourly rate. Parking is $35/day. Location is the only thing to mention as a positive.

Perfect location for cruise departures
Excellent hotel. Lobby is upstairs from ground level and hotel seems comingled with other activities related to Canada Place on the ground and entry levels. Very comfortable stay, and the best location for anybody who is departing on a cruise ship as the hotel will deliver your baggage right to the ship; and you simply descend on the elevator to the basement level to stroll right to your embarkation processing. The hotel stay was very comfortable and the ameneties are top notch.

Great way to start your cruise
We stayed at the Pan Pacific the night before our repositioning cruise left for Los Angeles. Definitely a five star hotel. We upgraded for $50 to a room that was on the 12th floor, directly over the pool, and awoke to a Princess Cruise Ship right outside our window and great views of all the harbour activity. The staff at the desk was very friendly. We arrived early and spent some time waiting in the lounge that overlooks the harbour, rooms were ready AT 4pm, as advertised, but not before. Food and drinks are quite expensive, but as others had posted, we found Rick's (Ricky's?) Diner down in the food court to be a great place for dinner and breakfast. Rooms and beds had all the amenities one could ask for, Would stay here again, especially at the price we paid through Orbitz.

Top Hotel
This is a very good quality hotel that was really only let down by not providing free internet access. Even in the cheaper city side rooms the view is spectacular. The bathroom is larger than some hotels rooms I've stayed in and provided Aveda toiletries and plenty of towels. The hotel is located in Canada place and many of the tours and free shuttles to attractions start from directly outside. The location is also just a couple of blocks from Gastown and the main shopping areas and about 20mins walk from Stanley Park. There is a food court directly opposite and some very good restaurants within a very short walk.

Nice after Alaska Cruise
Wonderfully accomodating with a very early check-in. Great location. Fantastic area to walk around the city. Value would be higher if not charged for internet etc. Didn't like carrying bags up the long escalator - after long lines at elevator.

Don't miss Granville Island - Very cool shopping/eating/entertainment area. Take False Creek Ferry across. Avoid the Pink On & Off bus. Screechy commentary and a scary ride through Stanley park
