Good location, but construction noise
We were able to walk to Robson street to shop and we had plenty of restaurant options for meals. Parking was expensive and there is a lot of construction going on near the hotel, likely in preparation for the 2010 Olympics.

great room but a noisy place
great location, convenient to all downtown places, very nice and lean room. all rooms are noisy because if you stay in the front side of the hotel, you hear the traffice noise, if you stay at the rear side, here is a construction going on which does not seem to finish in a year or two - it's a construction site of another hotel just 10 feet away

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Bayshore Bicycle rental. Very helpful and courteous staff. Free parking of your car at the bike rental. They also have very good rates and they are fair in their rental. They charge $6 per hour and prorate your time if you do not have a full hour. Close to Stanley Park.

FABULOUS HOTEL!
An upscale hotel right in the heart of Vancouver! The room was spotless, the linens luxurious, the bathroom was all marble and very spa-like. The hotel was quiet, the staff friendly and helpful. They had a business center with a computer, printer & fax. It was within walking distance to the Art Museum, resturants, and lots of great shopping. Who could ask for more? We loved it!
