Perfect boutique hotel
The hotel was great, our room was light and well decorated with a comfortable bed, pillows could have been a little softer..bathroom was large with a perfect size soaking tub. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Concierge was super helpful on finding us some really good restaurants. I would for sure stay again.

Great service for solo traveler!
Sent on two amazing dining adventures by Raymond (concierge). Forced me to try some new places that weren't on 'my list' (now new favorites for next trip). Valet and other service also friendly and professional. I would definitely return. Wished for mini-bar.

Swanky downtown location
Location is great and within walking distance of many activities. Just be aware that if you go in the summer, there WILL be construction, and it WILL be an absolute nightmare getting to the hotel. Once you're there and safely parked, you'll be able to walk or take public transportation wherever you need to go. Staff and room were wonderful!

Mr
we enjoyed our stay there - nothing stands out after we have been home for a week but it was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in during a month long trip. Nice location, friendly staff, food was good - good Italian restaurant adjoining lobby with discounts for hotel guests.

Perfect location
We loved it! The staff are great and very accommodating. The location is perfect. It's a walking distance to Canada place, gas town, sky train station ( which we took to go to the airport for $3.75) and shopping the ROBSON St. It is also a block away from the tour buses and public transportation buses. I highly recommend L'Hermitage on 788 Richards St.

Very nice!
This property is some sort of time-share, but it has a couple floors of hotel rooms which are very nice. The rooms are not overly large, but everything was very clean and appeared to have been recently updated. The hotel is close to the shopping on Robson and Pacific Place. The comp continental breakfast was standard fare, but the wait staff was pleasant and accomodating. Would definitely stay again if the rate was reasonable.

What a hotel should be...
Had a wonderful experience at the Hermitage in Vancouver. The hotel has a special rate for a while in order to celebrate the first year anniversary. It was everything a hotel should be. Nice decor (the hotel in general and the rooms), great value and wonderful service. Only drawback is all the construction that makes it quite noisy in the morning. However, I guess this is to be expected as the Olympics are approaching

Our stay at L'Hermitage
The hotel was beautiful and the entire staff treated us like royalty. The concierge's recommendations were always on point. We were personally greeted (by name) every day. The accommodations were exceptional - washer and dryer in the room was an added bonus for us. We didn't want to leave. the entire staff should be commended for making this such a great experience for my family.

Wonderful rooms and service
Rooms were very clean and tidy. There were many friendly, smiling, staff members around at all times. This is a great location to stay in after the RSVP bicycle ride from Seattle to Vancouver. There are many restaurant bar choices to chose from nearby.

First class hotel close to Roger's Arena
We picked this hotel for an overnight stay after Michael Buble's concert at Roger's Arena. Rooms were elegantly decorated, secure, clean and functional. Walking distance to great dining and shopping as well as the concert venue. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The concierge helped us pick a restaurant for a wonderful pre-show dinner (Glowbal Grill and Satay Bar), made the reseverations and let them know we needed to make the show. We didn't use the pool but there were many people in it while we were eating breakfast on Saturday morning. There isn't a restaurant in the hotel but they provide a breakfast buffet in a lounge area for $15 pp. Probably would find a restaurant for breakfast next time. Otherwise, everything was top notch and we will definately stay again next time we go to Vancouver!

Time-saving tip:
Not Applicable
There is a free trolley from Yaletown's restaurant row to Roger's Arena. We walked to dinner from the hotel and then took the trolley to the concert. Took the worry and time crunch out of getting to the concert on time. Get the free tickets for the ride at the Yaletown Brewing Company on Mainland Street.
