Poor customer service at concierge

Call concierge to call for whistler bus she said come down to the desk . Ok went to desk she said you should call them yourself greyhound. And by the way they are American they don't understand we are in Vancouver so it's better to go to the bus depot. Don't call them go there , it's pouring outside. Not very helpful and insulted the American greyhound

Lovely friends getaway

It was really a fantastic hotel, friendly and cool staff, wonderful location, close to the best places for shopping, resturants, and key transportation areas. Just there was charges for everything even domestic phone call that i've never seen this before that i think it is due to high expense of almost everything else in the city. Anyway, i am thinking to go back there for at least one more time.

Convenient downtown location with great city view

Right next to the Burrad sky train station. Very close to downtown attractions. There is a McDonalds and Tim Horton's next door and they're open 24 hours. The rooms were newly renovated and were very clean. It was a shame that the pool/fitness center was closed for renovation. They charge $9 to $15 for wifi. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Centralized Vancouver location

The Hyatt Regency in Vancouver worked out perfectly for us. Our room was large and very comfortable. We were able to walk to most of the attractions within 10-20 minutes -- Canada Place, Granville Public Market (to Aquabus), Stanley Park/Acquarium, etc. it's a little further to walk to Gastown but not by much. The free shuttle to the Capillano Suspension Bridge stops here. The bus to Chinatown is right across the street and the Expo Line of the Skytrain stops below.

Best location ever.

Right next to the burrard station and right where the whistler bus stops and picks up. Right near Robson street and all bus stops. There is no way the location could be better than this! And the hotel is clean and comfortable and congenial.

Excellent Central Downtown Location

This is a beautiful modern hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It has nice well appointed rooms which are extremely clean and modern. It doesn't have the character of some of the older hotels, but that is more of a plus in this case. If looking for a nice hotel for a business trip or a weekend getaway I would say it is generally perfect.

Great location, good value

This is in a great downtown location, within an easy walk to shopping, dining, and nightlife. The rooms are pretty normal hotel rooms, but very up to date and clean. The only complaint I had was the ironing board was broken, but that was fixed promptly. The staff, from the front desk to the hotel restaurant to the maid service was very friendly and personable.

Beautiful Hotel but WiFi is a HASSLE!

The staff was amazing the hotel was great. The location was also perfect. The only issue I had was that the WiFi was a pay ($15/day) system subbed out to another company and was per device. So, they require that you pay $15/day per computer. It wasn't so much the money but the hassle. Great Hotel!

downtown convenience with upscale service

lovely, lovely, hotel. Short walk to the art gallery, Robson St., waterfront (and the transportation there) as well as a 10 min. walk to Stanley Park. Location can't be beat, the amenities were fine, small gym and pool, very warm hot tub on a 4th floor deck. Fun to be in the hot tub surrounded by tall buildings! Staff is unusually responsive. Wonderful concierge and bell staff; good, seasoned advice, with helpful tips and coupons. Starbucks in lobby for easy early morning tea and coffee.

Our room had a small refig and there is an IGA three blocks away. So, we were able to eat fruit and yogurt for some breakfasts, which saved money in this expensive town.
