Free Upgrade on Room
Room was large with all the amenties that we needed or could use for the price we paid. Location could have been a little better, but was adequate a convienient to public transportation. Dining area was more than adequate and rivaled many local restaurants in price and cuisine.

Good location
Our first stay at the Holiday Inn Centre was a pleasant experience. We did not arrive until midnight but our room was ready, very large and clean. The location is ideal for seeing the sights of Vancouver and they provide a guest shuttle (one way only) to various attractions in the downtown area. The breakfast was good and our server made sure that we had coins for the bus that we needed to take. They also held our baggage a whole day upon our return from the cruise thus allowing us another day to sight see Vancouver.

Very comfortable
For the most part, it was easy to get around from the hotel. We found ok restaurants close by so we didn't have to go too far. The hotel personnel were very accomadating in helping us with any questions we had. The hotel room itself was very comfortable. We have no complaints about the service or accomodations.

Came a few days early to go on a cruise. Hotel offered everything we needed and was very professional. The resturant didn't look like much, but the food was excellant. There was a shuttle bus to take us to the ship.

Comfortble Stay
The Holiday Inn at Vancouver-Centre was very comfortable and was all that was described. I didn't expect it to be has far from downtown as it was, thought it would only be in walking distance. The front desk did let me know there was a bus stop ouside of the hotel. If it were closer to the city center there's no doubt I would stay there again.

Long walk from hotel
There's a neighborhood type cafe a couple blocks west that's great for breakfast. Of course not to much shopping on Sunday.

four star experience in a three star
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. 5 star staff! Traveling alone with children I found restaurant staff very helpful. Delighted to find a coffee maker and a small fridge in my room. Desk chair was very uncomfortable so not good for work. Whole foods in the area and bus right outside front door. The room was a bit old but they are in the process of updating rooms. Balcony door did not lock but staff came and made it secure. We had a great view.

Nice hotel, not too far from the Center.
This hotel was the start of our holiday, well situated between Airport and the Center. Hotel environment is a busy shopping street, no problem in the hotel itself. Good parking accommodation, friendly staff, nice restaurant and bar.

Best trip ever!!!
The hotel itself is quite old. The elevators took a long time and smelled faintly of mildew. These things are pushed out of memory by the wonderful staff who accomodated every need. Bottled water upon check in, luggage storage and great smiles with local advice on where to go. Excellent. Room was nice for the price.

Great location!
I went to Vancouver for a medical reason - the hotel was walking distance to the clinic, the Sky Train and a beautiful park. Downtown and shopping very close by. Unfortunately, hotel was booked to capacity and I was stuck with a room that was directly across from the elevators and ice machine, so stay was extremely noisy at all the wrong hours! Breakfast was complimentary (given a $20 credit per room each day regardless of number of guests)-since I was alone was more than adequate. Food was delicious, but rather pricey. Only option in the hotel, so rather limiting.
