Luxury accommodations and dining go to new heights in downtown tower
See Vancouver from a new perspective at this downtown tower hotel. Long walk from hotel
If you enjoy shopping, you have to use the bus to go around the shopping area because it's so wide, or you may be lost.

The Empire Landmark Hotel
The location is about as central as one could get. We were able to explore in every direction on foot. The restaurant at the top of the hotel is remarkable for its view. It revolves around in a total circle with a spectacular view of the city, water, mountains and sunset. The staff at the restaurant treated us like celebrities which was a pleasent surprise. The clerk in the lobby helped us set up tours. We had a good experience.

Awesome end to a West Coast Tour
I randomly chose the Empire Landmark Hotel...mainly based on location and price. I wasn't sure what to expect, and because I was traveling with my mother and two daughters, I was hoping for the best. We were all very happy with the hotel. The staff was very accomodating, the room was spotless, the location was perfect, and the view from our room was outstanding.

Tight Lines
Great Value for Downtown Vancouver
Empire Landmark is an older hotel and in spots shows its age and AC was marginal. Our room was clean and everything worked...one of the best showers I ever had at a hotel (lots of pressure). Great view of the city from our private balcony and a great location right near the downtown. Employees were very helpful. Hotel stay by itself was 3 stars but because of the location / price value, I give it 4 stars.

Don't eat in hotel, many great small restaurants within a few blocks and fine dining within a 15 minute walk.

Coud use customer service training
Our room was in disrepair. Ceiling cracking open above shower. AC did not work. Bedside lamp did not work. Balcony was dirty. We ate at the Cloud 9 restaurant on top. It took over an hour from the time we were seated until we received our entree. Staff was not friendly in hotel or restaurant. The view was great and that was about it.

Easy going traveler 9
Awful hotel!
Extremely old facilities, very outdated, dirty rooms, the wind goes through the windows and makes a terrible noise. Stay away from this hotel.

Lotus
Good location
The location is very convenient (about 1/2 mile to down town). Get out on the street, we have access to different main streets of Vancouver with many good restaurants, coffee shops and shopping stores. People are friendly, the streets are safe and transportation is very good.

An appropiate cost saving hotel for businessmen ot tourists
It's in the right location to move everywhere and confortable enough to stay. Even it's not 5 stars hotel, it has most important facilities to have a nice staying.

Worst Valentine's ever!!!
Unfortunately, not only did they give us twin beds for our Valentine's night, they gave us a night we will never forget! The room was dirty, smelled, and we didn't even stay the whole night for they put us between two parties. One of the party members pulled the fire alarm and it kept going off at 4am. The staff kept announcing on the intercom that it was a false alarm and to stay in our rooms. We couldn't take it anymore after it kept ringing every couple minutes for a half hour straight. I recommend that no one waste their money like we did!

Interrupted rest
It would have been a much better stay, but the fire alarm kept going off on accident throughout the night, and it was impossible to get any sleep. Nothing was offered to compensate for this.
