-Amazing view of Vancouver.
-Rooms are decent. Beds were nice, but carpet was old. This hotel needs to be renovated.
-Staff was rude, there was no sense of urgency.
-There is a $15.00 charge for parking when you check in.
the moment you enter the hotel you think I have made a great deal, but after leaving the elevator and entering your room... You think twice. It is not bad, but it is a disapointment after having seen the lobby.
They have to paint and
But if you have already booked, go to the topfloor to see the views.
Till that moment stay at the best western at Granville street.
Came here mainly because of the location, but then when arrived seen a few other options that seemed better.
Parking is not free, and isn't even clean at $15 a day. Half of the rooms are right in front of the elavator doors so people getting on
and off will wake people up, not to mention the smells in the hallways.
The room is much smaller than the ones in the picture. The bed was like sleep on the floor. The bathroom had 2 towels, a timer that occasionally worked and the whole room had one outlet in the restroom.
No free internet is available in the area at all. The hotel has a few unsecured accounts but no connection. The hotel wanted $8 a day.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
The streets around the hotel has free parking and the hotel next block over has cheaper and cleaner parking lots.
I was surprised to find a hotel that cheap in downtown Vancouver, so I booked it. The front desk employee was really nice. I went up to my room on the 37th floor, and I could smell bleach smell on my way up there. The room had outdated furniture
(although the TV was a new flat screen). The mattress was uncomfortable, and I had a shortage of pillows the whole time. The view from the balcony was amazing (you could view downtown and the harbor area). I walked everywhere I went from Stanly Park to Gastown to Yale town
Average hotel in great location at Robson. Room was roomy but outdated; especially the bathroom was showing it;s age. Upper floor rooms have unbeatable views. Bottom line; Room was decent, you get what you pay for.
