Restful sleep, near transit

Not the biggest fanciest rooms ever, but good if all you need is somewhere to sleep before going out. My only real complaint would be that the breakfast room is not a good experience - very cramped if the hotel is full. Otherwise everything was fine. The inner courtyard is nice considering how plain it looks from outside.

Decent if you just need a place to sleep

This hotel was fine if you were just visiting the area and only spent a few hours a night at the hotel to sleep. There is complimentary breakfast from 6:30-9:30am (I wish it was a bit later, until 10am at least). The biggest issue I had with the hotel was the Wifi. It was terrible and unusable the whole time I was there. I could only get on for a minute at a time without it going down. However, it really was not a big deal. It is convenient in terms of public transport to the downtown of Vancouver. Secondly, the front desk person (I'm not sure of his name - he is an Asian male) was VERY VERY helpful. He gave me so much detailed information about how to get access to bus passes, etc. The information was very valuable. He is the reason I gave the hotel as high of a rating as I did. Again, the hotel is fine if you just need a place to sleep.

Tiny Room - Tiny Bathroom

The room was very small. There were 3 of us and we had to be careful not to step on each other. It was a quiet room and clean. The entry driveway was really narrow.

great value

Be prepared for a 25 min bus ride to downtown if you are on local transportation. I heard you can transfer to the Skytrain for a faster trip but I didn't attempt it. There is a beautiful inside courtyard garden with rhododendrums and my room was furnished in dark green carpet with burgendy accents and English paisley chairs. There was a small frige but no microwave. McDonald's is right next door and many Vietnamese restaurants are nearby. The room was large with a big flatscreen TV.
