Unbeatable location for the price

My wife and I took a cruisetour to Alaska and decided to spend 3 days in Vancouver prior to the cruise. This hotel is new, extremely clean, quiet, close to every attraction in Downtown, it is a short walk to Bronson St, Canada Place, the Tourist information Center, Canada rail line that goes to the airport. We were extremely satisfied with our stay.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

About half a block away is "Urban Fare", a market where you'll find cooked food for a lunch, breakfast or dinner. Food at the hotel is also excellent. Also, if you want to see the most interesting places take the hop-on-hope-off trolley at the Information Center, it's wonderful!

Great first time experience in Vancouver

The front desk was excited to help us out with our first experience in Vancouver. They quickly got out a map and circled all the MUST SEE activities in the city with great enthusiasm, so much that it was rather comical. The rooms are very modern and simple with the the much needed corkscrew you don't normally see next to the glasses. HA! Eco-friendly as they have 3 types of trash cans, which I admired. And the ice is not on every floor which is unfortunate, but understood. HA. Great hot tub, small pool.. Great fitness center and great location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I will mention that they were also flexible on check in and check out times for our stay.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

The Skytrain Station is a short 10 minute walk, as are the important bus stops to get to Granville Island (#50) and Stanley Park is a quick 10 minute bus ride on the #19. Gas Town is a 15 minute walk. Good shopping and great local pubs. I suggest The Greedy Pig.

Very happy w/Stay!

Beautiful views of downtown, great comforter and pillows, perfect place to have a base if you're a tourist. We visited Stanley Park, Grouse Mountain, Whistler and Victoria and this hotel was the perfect location to come back to every night. They have a full wall of windows, which I loved. Only downside is the lobby was plain--didn't hit you as 'cool' and no bells/whistles. Also the parking was either at a downtown parking garage at $25/day or meter on the street. Luckily, meters were free >10pm and <9am, so we actually were gone so much, that we could do that.

Great Hotel!!!

The room had a fantastic view of the downtown area. It was just a short walk to the waterfront(boat rentals, seaplane rides, etc.) Other attractions including tours started and ended at the hotel. Just a super experience.

Great hotel/location, excellent ambiance

Great minimalist atmosphere and trendy. Close proximity to the bay, which is just beautiful and to the trendy shops on Robson and Burrard. Surrounded by coffee shops, 24-hour 7-Eleven, restaurants and shopping. Very clean and professional area of downtown Vancouver. Walked to Stanley Park and all around the downtown area, visit to Chinatown, beautiful garden parks, Granville Island and ate in numerous great restaurants. Visited with cousins who live in the area. The hotel was really great...loved it. Will certainly come again.
