Hotel was fine but pricey for what we got. Food was a 5.5/10 and all else was very lackluster.

No prime rib

Would not recommend Mon, Oct 8, 2012
The lobby at the hotel was filled with posters touting the prime rib special at the attached grill. Guess what? They were out of prime rib. It was no surprise because they were also out of shampoo, courteous service and comfortable pillows. The hotel is located at the foot of a hill that leads up to downtown and I do mean up, up, up. There is a nice old hotel about four blocks away and I suggest you try that. After the Banff Springs Hotel it was just too hard to take.

Dining

Go to the fine coffee shop four blocks up for a world class latte and a wonderful pear ginger muffin.
