Clean, comfortable and great location!
My husband and I were on a weekend workshop being held at the same hotel. When we arrived we were delighted to step into the stylish room and smell ... nothing! The room smelled so fresh: no dust smell, no new paint smell, no cleaning chemicals smell, no febreez! Our balcony looked over the busiest road in the city, however thanks to 3 layers of glass we really couldn't hear it at all. When we wanted fresh air, the deck doors opened easily to let in as much or as little as we liked. Room service was very fast, fresh-tasting and hot. We did not have a chance to use the pool or fitness centre but they looked well-appointed. Staff were friendly. As we were there over a weekend, the bar downstairs became quite busy. We were located in the opposite end of the building so didn't even know they had a bar til I walked right outside it on the Sat night - the rooms seemed to be quite well insulated from all noise sources. Oh, and great bed, linens and pillows. Amazing location - walked everywhere!

Short walk from hotel
Ric's Grill - Steak, Seafood and Chop House. Expensive but great food and lovely service - also large portions. Only 2 buildings from our hotel.

dinged up furniture, old AC system, holes in the wall where the doors open, yucky stairways, looked out over the Union Gospel Mission. Location is great. Across from the park. 2 blocks to a happening downtown with restaurants, etc.
