The hotel was well located for

The hotel was well located for us, as we used it for an overnight stay en route from Whistler to Banff. Reasonable restaurants were nearby. The room we had was quite roomy, with good facilities. Even numbered units face a main road which was quite noisy, but the noise was controllable by keeping the door and window shut. When checking in, the male receptionist seemed unfamiliar with [website] bookings and wanted to charge us for the room, but we got it sorted.

average at best

we did not enjoy this motel at all. nobody had a good sleep and nobody had anything good to say about our stay except for the location. the heater/airconditioner was very loud, the traffic was very noisy and other rooms showers were the loudest. also the pictures on the website are of others places in kamloops not of the motel. we just needed a good place to sleep for 1 nite as we travelled to the coast. this motel did not provide this. it is located near many restaurants which is nice but so are many other hotels. oh yeah the hot tub was not working either.

During the heatwave
