Nice place

It's a nice environment and nice staff Only need to have good control on the parking lot, especially to the selfish car owner who took 2 spots with 1 car only

Very nice resort

The highlight of course was the hot springs, but everything was great. The staff was very friendly and the afternoon tea was an unexpected treat. The view of Harrison lake ant the surrounding mountains was fantastic. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Air conditioning

The resort used to be a favourite of ours but the room was nothing special and the air conditioning was awful, especially for a room that faces the hot spring pools, where there is nothing but hot air outside. Plus, there were people vaccuming at 1030pm in the main lounge areas and stairs, spoiling the ambience. I was going to complain on checking out about the room, but wasn't asked by reception how my stay was, so I guess they weren't bothered. Not great value for a $200 a night stay.

Wonderful location, room disappointing

The location is breathtaking, local restaruants and shops don't over-charge you. The room felt like a broom closet, and the door was too small so light flooded the room all night. Decor was lovely and staff were great!

it's alright.

This hotel made me realize a different between resort room and hotel room. A room is very very simple. I would like to gave them 2and half stars for room. By the way I loved a pool. There has out door and in door pool and cloes at 1am. I would love to gave them 5 stars for hot spring pool.

Harrison hot springs hotel

The experience in the springs pool was worth the drive. Wouldn't stay in area longer then one night as not much to do around. Buffet dinner was good and inexpensive. Customer service was great. Our room in main hotel was horrible. The walls were paper-thin and we were asked at midnight to lower our television (which was at a normal level). You could hear hall noise, walking and talking from other rooms. However when we complained they compensated financially which made it worth it (otherwise too expensive). Front desk and management were great. Not a romantic room in Main hotel as it is old. Probably best to stay in other wing.

My review of Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa

We stayed at the old, main hotel, which is charming and more affordable than the newer towers. We really like this hotel. It's a nostalgic and luxurious stay all at the same time. The hot pools are some of the best I've seen, the staff are great, and the room service food is very good - however maybe a little expensive considering what you're ordering. Our room was a little small, but somehow still very charming, and I was surprised to see it came with a mini fridge. The beds could be upgraded to Queen size as they are only a twin size, but they are comfortable enough. The bathroom has a very nice tub, but never used it as all our soaking was in the hot pools! This hotel can show it's age (in a good way) and cleanliness is never a problem.

The Crazy Fish Restaurant is right within a block of the hotel, and has extremely good food, and a unique atmosphere. And despite the name, not just fish! The Bison steak was one of the best steaks I've ever had.

Great Hot Spring Pools

We stayed at the Main Hotel building. The room was a bit old, and small. It's smaller than the standard North American hotel rooms. But we didn't stay in the room for long anyways. We had dinner at the Lakeview restaurant, the food was good. The hot spring pools were great for relaxing!
