Hotel good room noisy and hot
room nice but ac too noisy to use, then room too hot. Changed rooms, same problem. My daughter also found the pool to be cold and the hottub lukewarm. No compensation offered. Noisy dog in next room too. Not recommended unless improved.

Good - location, staff and pet friendly
Restaurant - During our stay the hotel was full and I believe the restaurant was understaffed. Lots of dirty tables and servers were running around doing the best they can. Pool - the pool was pretty much empty and big enough to swim a bit. The only initial concern was the temperature - bit to cold. Rooms - people complain about the road noise...well that usually happens when you are in a hotel that is on the main road through the town. Quite frankly after a specific time at night it isn't a concern. Fernie itself - great little place to visit, lots of bike trails.

Short walk from hotel
This hotel offers a microwave, mini fridge, cutlery and dishware...take a short walk to the local grocery store and pick up some snacks/food items and save the cost of going to a restaurant. This hotel is also pet friendly.

Good hotel, handy location
A group of us came to Fernie to go skiing. The Park Place is an easy walk to the downtown & right on the highway for an easy drive to the hill. The only slight downside was the heating is very sensitive, so turning it on turns the room into a sauna - but easy to solve once you know! Slightly weird to have the hottub in view from all the rooms, but good pool & hottub.
