Beautiful setting
My husband and I stayed at the Post Hotel in Lake Louise and absolutely fell in love with the place. It is set along a little brook, with beautiful red cottages dotting the premises. Our room had a balcony overlooking the brook. Our room was spacious, clean and had every amenity you would need for a wonderful stay. The restaurant was superb in its selections, with a nice selection of scrumptious entrees to choose from. If I were to go back to Lake Louise, this is where I would stay again.

In Hotel
The dining selection for dinner was superb with a varied menu to choose from. Extensive wine list, however, there is an inexpensive house wine to choose from also.

We had a gound level room on the front side of the building. Unfortunately, it was next to the parking lot and there was a busy railroad track on the other side of the parking lot. We had to deal with the parking lot noise and the steady stream of rr trains. If you stay there, be sure to get a room on the back side of the hotel.

Aging Baby Boomer
Post Hotel--Lake Louise
The location was perfect for visiting some of the spectacular places in the area. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was superb.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Keep in mind that you are unlikely to be accustomed to the elevation when hiking is planned. There are many less strenuous hiking opportunities that offer stunning scenery.
