Average, nothing special

We were placed on the 4th floor and there are no elevators, so a bit inconvenient there. The bathroom floor was a bit dingy and small. It was a short walk to town, and the restaurant was quite good. It could use some updating.

Furnace quit twice

For $400 plus dollars a night; we froze. When we talked to the frond desk there was no compensation for this, just a sorry. Talking with the maintenance men there are issues with this hotel. The saving grace was that it was warmer than usual when we were there. What happens when it's really cold... Would I go back... Never sadly.

A beautiful location.

when i arrived and was given my room, I was very dissappointed with the standard of the room. I would not have booked this room if i had known about the standard of it. After a call to the front desk i was moved and have to say how impressed i was with my upgraded room. Need to check standard of room before booking...very low for the economy room, nothing like depiceted on the add.

Lake Louise Inn Survey

Of our 7 night trip through Canada, the two nights at Lake Louise Inn were by far our worst. The room was so tiny you tripped just getting to the bathroom on the bottom of the bed. Also first one without a coffee pot in the room. The building was old, and it was the only one with no flowers. It was also one of the most expensive rooms of the week. Would not stay here again or recommend.

The room we were given first smelled

The room we were given first smelled bad and had been smoked in, eventhough it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. It was very noisy and faced the highway. The staff did change the room for us to a better, bigger one that was worth the price charged for the original room. Prices are high too high for what you get. It is an expensive motel at best. The breakfast at the restaurant was so-so. I would look for a different place to stay.

My review of Lake Louise Inn

Lake Louise Inn was in a very pretty setting. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our first room was on the third floor of a building with no elevator. We had been aware of that but didn't realize that it could be a little difficult for two senior citizens! We made it up alright with our suitcases only to discover that our room keys did not work! But the houseman was excellent and even after locating my earring which fell over the railing on the third floor, he got us settled in an upgraded room in the main hotel with an elevator. Our only complaint was that even though it was supposedly the honeymoon suite the bathtub which was in a glass enclosure was great but so was the toilet in the glass enclosure. The view was nice and the location was good and the price was reasonable for the area.

There's a great bakery in the mall close by that is good for breakfast . Lake Moraine, not far from Lake Louise is just as pretty and perhaps not as crowded.
